    nah! he is from a very poor part of Colombia..that has more to do with him eating roadkill than him being a victim of racism. No doubt he had it rough and you can choose to forget the past.

    really though, i can't speak for many countries but i know in mexico boxing aint a hobby, it's a ****en lifestyle...and many if not all, get hated on, shitted on etc etc....you know, that crab in a bucket effect....but the thing is though, that has to make you and not break you...sounds like it broke miranda down and turned him into a loud mouth **** talker.....

    I knew you would understand as many of you do....country pride goes along with boxing. Its ok to adopt a new home to do better for yourself, but don't **** on your fans in the process. A guy like Adamek is a perfect example...he loves the US but he fights for his Polacks...I really admire that! and I love this guy even though I am not Polish.

    yeah but that's why I say I don't expect political correctness from a fighter. I don't know...it's cool if you don't feel him for whatever reasons but all that **** him stuff is OD

    I always felt Miranda is weak mentally anyway.
    Bonilla is no trainer for him and he only keeps him cuz it's his father figure.

    it is, but how do you think his columbian fans feel...i mean, they're struggeling too...and to have a fighter like miranda who's pure heart represent them, and now all of a sudden turning his back is kind of hypocritical of him to do.....

    he should cherish his fans until the end of his days, respect and understand that many have had his struggle too, not just him....

    he is not smart either. If he was he would have modeled himself after Sugar Ray Leonard. Instead he was in the clubs catching assualt charges. After that Coca-cola didn't want him and he lost out on a lot of endorsements.
