Joe Calzaghe's performance against Hopkins = one of the worst performances in boxing.

If you notice Calzaghe's workrate in his fight with Hopkins is NOTHING compared to previous fights he went the distance in, against Hopkins you are forced to throw less considering his movement and sneaky type of defense. Calzaghe adapting was his ability to make Hopkins miss and even confused Hopkins at some points, that's how he adapted. In the first round he was in there stalking and hit the canvas, his ability to come back from that and avoid similar shots from Hopkins is how he adapted even though he was hurt numerous times after that.

Yes he did. First half of the fight Hopkins was fine, due to Calzaghe's activity and workrate Hopkins was losing stamina towards the end. That was plain to see. Did Hopkins lose stamina against Pavlik? No, because he controlled the pace of the fight. Against Calzaghe going into the later rounds he never.

That is a moronic comment. Hopkins still landed punches and buckled Calzaghe after that. In fact WHENEVER bhop let his hands go he won the round and landed the cleaner harder punches. Bhop landed more on Calzaghe than he did Taylor in which he did not even start to fight until the 7th round in the first fight and the 6th round in the second fight.

How is that a moronic comment?, do you have a problem reading or something?

What you said in this post is exactly what I meant in mine, Hopkins HURTING Calzaghe numerous times in various exchanges after the knockdown. A notable one is a right hand he landed that sent Calzaghe backwards then the round ended, can't remember which round but was midway.

Hopkins was losing stamina by doing nothing but getting slapped? He must have contracted hepatitis for that fight.

He said B-Hop landed more on Cal than he did Taylor lol. This is what I'm talking about lol. Guys try to hate, and watch a boxing match to make a point, and come off phony lol. Your first 3 sentences are absolutely correct, but then you added a lie in the 4th sentence, and I exploit liars lol...

No, he dealt with a southpaw/pressure fighter with fast hands.

Not sure if you're referring to me but I never said Hopkins landed more on Calzaghe than Taylor. What I'm talking about is if anyone looks at the fighter's workrates against Hopkins it just goes down because of his style of fighting and I mentioned that CALZAGHE'S workrate dropped against Hopkins in comparison to previous fights. The Taylor fight was used as an example of how fighters just look bad fighting Hopkins, it's hard to look good against him.
