hmm says... like I said I think it was just good opportunity. Roach saw something with DLH that most people didn't see when the fight was being made so I'm sure he was glad to have that idea pitched to him. The weight is the only main variable.. I just don't see it as being cherrypicked or closet cherrypicked unless someone can come up with a better reason. Without Merchant, I'm thinking the fight would've never happened at all or the thought wouldn't have ever come across Team Pac. It was just another great opportunity for Team Pac to capitalize on to get to where they are at now.

    cherrypicked opponent: no
weight playing a huge factor: yes

    Pac ducking Floyd.
He rather fight cotto because he knows cotto is there to hit. Pac is faster and Hits harder then judah and look at how easily zab hit him. Roach and Arum knows he can beat cotto but will stay away from floyd whos cherry picking. They dont want floyd.

Wow, I cant believe their saying ODLH was cherry picked by Pac. Pac moved up 17 freakin pounds to challenge ODLH. All analyst counted Pac out and saying its a mismatch. He was the underdog and made the fight look like a sparring session.

While PacMan is LOOKING for OPPONENTS that ar BIGGER. Mayweather is LOOKING for OPPONENTS who are SMALLER. GET THE PICTURE?! PAC moving up and Mayweather moving down. You want me to DRAW it for you Genius?

pac is a beast ...still have no clue why odlh weighed 147 for that fight and offered NO resistance...marquez is a NUCH MUCH tougher fight for floyd than hatton or pdlh was for pac

You idiots really need to get some smarts..... DLH cannot NOT be seen as a cherry pick if he was such a HUGE fave before NOR looked as bad as he did in previous encounters.

You cannot retroactively call someone a Chery pick AFTER the fact because it suits you.....

    Board full of morons...:patsch

How again is DLH seen as a cherry pick if he was a HUGE fave going in w/ most people here even picking DLH?

Answer that with a legit reason if you are able...

    So what...

It doesn't change the fact that no one thought that till AFTER... and when the fight was signed, DLH had NOT looked shot to ****. The next person who fights DLH is a true cherry picker...if he fights again.
