Here me out... Manny, his advisor, Roach and Arum have all said that Floyd would make for a boring fighter because he "runs". His advisor said in an article today that he would rather a Cotto fight because Cotto comes to fight(he ran when he couldn't put Margo away...then folded) Cotto also backed that thang up against Shane in the later rounds...no different than what Floyd does...no knock on either in my book. That's oxing. Dirrel vs Stevens was running...Anyway, I have never seen Floyd "run" from any1 his size and I doubt if he'd start with Pac Man. It seems to me that team Pac Man is afraid of the possibility of being outboxed. His advisor even went as far as to say that May could beat him on points...now, Roach knew Oscar was shot, and that Hatton was tailor made for Manny. Do you think that they could possibly duck Floyd in fear of being outboxed?

    No.

Just a way of letting a potential Fight build for next May.
(Since Pac seems to have inherited the De La Hoya dates)

But both would have their hands full, before a potential match ever happens.

Roach knows Pac will beat PBF.. the difference is, a cotto fight will guarantee a good fight, not cat and mouse.

I like the Cotto vs PAC matchup better more excitement two of our finest warrior's going at it. Cotto did back up against Margo but i would too if i was getting hit with plastered hands.
Cotto fought a good close fight against Shane he stood in the pocket plenty.
I really don't think Pac is going to duck Floyd they will fight but its kinda silly for any Floyd fan to accuse PAC of ducking when Floyd has made a career out of ducking fighter's.

Don't be naive...if he "knows" Pac Man would win, he'd want the fight asap. A win over May is much larger then a win over Cotto.

Cotto is a p4p elite fighter with only one loss that has been heavily scrutinized. There's also a much greater chance that Pac gets hurt against Cotto than against PBF so it would be ridiculous to say that he's ducking.

    absolutely not.

Mayweather, all he had to do was wait 7 hours and then announce his plans to fight Pacquiao. Instead he took on the other small guy.

If he fights Cotto he'll never get the chance to fight Floyd. Cotto would knock his head off.

Actually I hope he does fight Cotto and lose then I will get the fight I want which is Cotto vs Floyd.

No if hes fighting Cotto, but if he fights Valero then yes. Also if Floyd wants more than 50% I wouldnt call it ducking

Cotto took 5 rounds to destroy Michael Jennings...Pac is really scared of this guy.
