Ah poor old Con i see that fat **** in the pubs asking people for money to play the pokies.
Seems as is Fenech couldnt give a **** about him as he is allways on the bite.

The Geale v Mundine bout is by no means a grudge match. But with all the who-har and absolute b/s that is Team Mundine.....

Would a Geale win be the sweetest in recent Australian boxing history?

 

What's the seating like at the convetion centre? I've heard its ordinary. Is a 50 dollar seat gonna be a waste of time?

 

Depends on what you mean as "recent" but this doesn't compare to Peden v Campbell I or II in my opinion.

 

I think its at the entertainment centre. $50 is a bit steep for seats that far from the action.

Why would they? He was based in America his entire professional career. Most of the public wouldn't know who Jimmy Carruthers is, let alone Peden.

That being said, he had a good following in Qld due to extensive coverage from Bernie Pramberg.

 

i would say anyone who remotely knows about boxing would know who peden was. but if you bring other influences in well choc probably played a better game of footy than bomber

 

Which is a travesty in itself, the path the "Bomber" took was his own and just isnt comparable to any of our recent "champs", as Dave stated you cant even compare Robbie to these two...yet, hopefully 1 or both prove us wrong but at this stage to compare them to Peden is liking comparing oranges to apples they are completely different leagues.

Peden has easily been best of the Aussie born's since Fenech.
