Kessler is tied up with legal issues, Bika's complaining no one wants to fight him after Joe called him the toughest opponent he's faced.

Bika should be calling out Froch surely, as he is WBC champ with no opponent lined up, or maybe he see's it as a tougher fight than Kessler?

I know that Froch is looking beyond a Bika fight but it's one that he is capable of winning and could try and do a better job than JC and have it in Nottingham.

Bika would be a good test for Froch and would be willing to fight in Nottingham which would be great.

Joe's a fanny. If he beats Bika then Froch will ha ha. Nah Bika's style was all wrong for Calzaghe. If Calzaghe had power he'd have finished that. Froch would waste Bika coz he has the power to do so

Bika has sparred Kessler in the past.

Bika predicted Kessler to beat Calzaghe, so presumably Kessler whooped his ass in sparring. :good

Bika is a good fighter. He has a respectable record. Bika is a good defence after two wars.

This is a good fight for Froch... he has the power to whoop him. Froch cannot continue to have every fight on the cobbles... he will have to have a variety of fights and opponents we might not really want to see. He may have to win ugly, he may have to keep it long, box clever and not get involved. But to go into the trenches every fight will only bring two things for me.... to many miles on the clock he don't need and an eventual defeat. :bbb:bbb

    I didn't know they'd sparred thats interesting...

Well if Kessler did whoop him, you'd think he'd want to go down another route.

Unless Bika thinks he can get the better of him?:think

he may be a boring old geezer as you referred to ,
but he is still in the divisions top,
lets let froch sort out this division then,he's arrived at a good time i think.
    froch to unify!!!

You obviously have not seen Bika's fight with Cordington if you think he is boring.

Surely Bika wants Kessler because Kessler is the best in the division?

Also, I wonder how much ££ there is in fighting Kessler. One of the main reasons Froch couldnt get decent fights prior to Taylor was because he didnt have the money to back it up. He'll certainly have more to bargain with now having beaten Taylor but at the same time he doesnt have a CV of money spinning fights. Am I right in thinking that Kessler makes a fair packet for the promotional teams in Europe?

There's your second reason for Bika picking Kessler over Froch.
