Caballero vs Gamboa almost official according to Cabalero's Promoter

    im not going to translate word by word but basically this is what is says:

    - The Deal is almost done
    - Caballero's promoter claims that they have been analyzing the offer for quite some time and it is a very attractive offer.
    - Warriors and Showtime got the deal almost done by any day now but we can't announce anything official yet
    -He also claims that the fight will take place in August in the US

    I guess no one wants juanma? I think both would bring a stiff challenge why not chase his title?

    This would be an excellent fight for as long as it lasts but I see Gamboa knocking him out in 5.

    is this gonna be at 122 for caballeros belts? that's a great decision by team gamboa. lose the weight for one fight so he can pick up straps in a division he normally wouldn't bother with then if he wins give'em up and move back to feather to challenge for a belt and become a multi division champ with ease then up to 130 where he'll still be very comfortable and maybe finish the career at lightweight with a possibility of belts in 4 divisions.

    Seminole tried to make a fight with Juanma a while ago and GBP balked. That's how this whole offer came about.

    dont think Caballero can make 122 effectively anymore, Juanma will probably get another soft touch in june but might get to fight Rafa Marquez later in the year.

    I also wanted to add that the gamboa vs Espadas fight will likely not happen , a source close to the situation told me that guty has decided to not take the fight
