Let Hatton get his feet wet in a tuneup. Then lets see him fight Guzman. I'd pick Hatton by decision.

  3. I have been recently hoping for Hatton to retire, but I have actually changed my mind.... I do think he has a few good fights out there for him and a early KO loss is devastating but by no means career ending.

It just depends how his chin stands up, because not eveeryone is as good as Manny

Stylistically Guzman could pose a lot of problems for Hatton, but given his size advantage and Guzman's lack of punching power, i'd favour Hatton to walk through his best shots and earn a UD.

Seems to me that you would like to see Hatton seriously hurt....The only guys Ricky could beat now are hand picked bums or names who are years past their best like the ones Ricky has already beaten.

  8. What are rabid punches :rofl

  9. Thanks for joining ESB, are you going to offer anything other than hating on Hatton ?

I dont hate Ricky Hatton I have gone to watch him many times at the MEN and went to Vegas for the Mayweather fight.

I just never rated him as an elite fighter and will argue that he isn`t as great as many of the brainwashed think he is/was.

I think many confuse great with popularity when it comes to Ricky Hatton and personally I hope he quits fighting as he risks getting seriously hurt if he fights a decent fighter Witter/Bradley etc................

I know people will pay good money to see him beat a hand picked fighter who cannot hurt him ala Malingnaggi and all the others Ricky has beaten.

Hatton needs to take a crappy tuneup fight and then fight Amir Kahn.

What does he need to prove at this point? He was the top 140 pounder for a while. He decided to step and lost against elite competition. Yes, one by brutal KO, but, honestly, I'd be more worried if it was a sustained 12 round beatdown.

Get a nice thanks to the fans/picks up an easy payday. And then fight Kahn in what would be a huge fight in the UK. Particularly if Kahn beats Kotelnik. And call it a day.

Why would he fight Witter when he was onto better boxers than that, if Witter is so good why did he get knocked on his arse by Bradley that was his big fight to impress and he ****ed it simple as that.
