the man is a badass and the plaster controversy is still a little bit sketchy.

Elements of plaster? wtf? All the elements, some of the elements... we dont know. Also, we are expected to assume that Margarito knew there was plaster on his pads, when it took the California state athletic commission like a month to figure out there were elements of it.

I'm still a fan. His loss was embarassing, but then I'm an even bigger fan of Mosley...

IT doesn't matter if it had plaster on it or not.

The wraps according to his manager hardened and was still used.

    CHEAT. Even with the plaster.

Why the **** do you think??

Cause he took part in many awesome fights.

He was the kind of once in a lifetime brawler who could have woren cotton gloves on his hands and still beaen most of the guyts he faced.

He had very limited skill, which Shane exploited to it's utmost.

I really feel that a lot of people are over estimating Shane after that fight, and wanting to see him in with Manny over Cotto.

The way i see it, Manny is way to sharp for Shane at this point in his career.
The 2 fights for Manny are Floyd and Miguel

yeah those bricks that dropped out of his wraps with blood on them... sooooo sketchy.

lol you're like a pro wrestling referee, always turning his head when the guy pulls the pipe wrench out of his drawers.

Margo CHEATED, plain and simple, in the worst way. There is no debating this at all. Probably the only reason his chin looked so good in the first place is because the guys fighting him were always moving backward to get away from the hammerheads under his gloves so he never had to deal with flush, full power shots. When he DID have to deal with them from Mosely, it was GOODNIGHT, CHEATER!

    Not really.

because no one is really saying he had plaster. He did have elements, which should of NOT been there anyway.

He had hardened bricks under both wraps. Why are people having such a hard time understanding this? It's not rocket science. It's not even fourth grade math.

This, and he was also a great brawler really strong guy high workrate exciting, fearless he was limited but still a lot better than the Ricky hatton's of this world.

In what way? Hatton, so far as I know, never endangered other fighter's lives by putting **** in his gloves. He won his matches fair and square and held his title a lot longer than Margo did.

IMHO Margarito was better than a guy like hatton in everyway more dangerous he's also limited and easy to hit but the man could take a punch from anyone , you won't see Antonio Margarito going down in the 2nd round against anyone, more active, physically stronger just a better fighter overall even with his many limitations.
