Tyson, Jones, an sanders for a small part, was what lewis was considering fighting just before his showdown with vitali, after that fight, all he talked about was going into retirement,,,,Jones/lewis would of been big, but vitali ruined that paycheck for lewis Now just cause you guys have alot love for lewis, you don't want to except the fact that wlad defense is great (sanders fight he got sloppy), an for lewis to break threw it would be very hard,,,,,,an it is pretty safe to assume Wlad's left hook would own lewis, like his brother own lewis after having that ***** duck out on big pay days an run into retirment
I'll ignore the majority of the ******ed remarks as I'm getting bored of you now, but I would like you to expand on this theory that VITLAY ruined the Jones/Lewis fight? Also Jones V Lewis wouldn't have been particularly big, Lewis knew it'd be a joke fight and was reluctant to fight Jones, same as he was reluctant to fight Byrd - he'd have most likely brain damaged the pair of them.
Don't tell me FW, in your avatar, that's got to be you getting in that guy's face. You are such a bad-ass. I see you take no bullsh*t.
Nope, that's Dion Dublin, head-butting Robbie Savage. I'm nothing like Dion Dublin, I'm white and have hair for a start.
Let's get back on point. Sanders Wlad gets TKO'd; today's Wlad has Lewis backpeddilng. I think it would be a great fight. Respect to both.
I am not sure how big it would of been in the UK,,but ruiz/jones ppv sold 500,000 buy at $50 dollars a buy (25 million dollars), this does not include the other money making part of the fight (ticket sells, endorsements, site fee) an take into account that tyson/lewis had 2 million sells (100 million dollars), now lewis/jones might not of been a 2 million sell, but you bet it was going to at least be 1 million, an they were talking about it at the time as thoe it might be a sure thing,,,,an yea if lewis fought him, roy would of lost, but it is about the money, an neogations stopped pretty much after the vitali/lewis fight,,,there were even small talks about jone/vitali,,,lewis is rich, but that fight with vitali no question made him poorer then he would of been an retire an the byrd fight he said that the public did not want it, that is why he did not fight byrd,
I can prove that Wlad would Ko Lennox if they had ever fought, even the pre-Steward Wlad. Watch Lennox versus Shannon Briggs. Watch the first round. When Lennox tries to attack Briggs, a quick left hook from briggs hurts Lennox. Lennox was lucky to survive that first round. Now, credit to Lennox for surviving and then KO'ing Briggs big time later in the 4th, I think. You see though, Lennox is vulnerable to a good left hook. Always has, always will. Maybe that is also the reason why he never fought a southpaw either. Maybe, Lennox isn't smart enough to handle anything other than orthodox fighters, you know "he needs it to be kept as simple as possible." I would have made a big wager if they ever had fought, that Wlad catches him with a good left hook, and then Wlad finished him off with a huge right, early too. Too bad they never fought. Lennox could have fought Wlad too, he had that WBO belt, but for some reason, Lennox never wanted to fight Wlad. I wonder why?
Every time I read **** like this I feel compelled to draw your attention to: This content is protected Yeah, he had his number alright.
Lennox would have easily crushed them both on the same night. When Ike caught Chris he quickly "did the Enzo" then rose drooling like a teething two year old. The size differential would just be too great combined with his quality athleticism and the best skill in a heavyweight since probably Ali (with consideration to LH and EH). The ring wouldn't have been large enough to allow Chris or even the far fleeter RJJ to avoid Lewis for 12 rounds. Prime Byrd was able to avoid getting steamrollered by lesser (huge) athletes like the Klitschkos but he couldn't do it against Ibeabuchi and wouldn't have had a prayer of surviving against LL either. Roy knew better than to consider such a fight and Chris was fortunate that no one was interested in watching a massacre.
******. You don't have to beat someone again, when you've already melted the side of their face. :good
