This answered your question in the simplest manner possible, "For the same reasons other "alleged cheaters" (ie. Mosley, Trinidad, Jones jr., Toney, etc) still have fans." We weren't arguing the fact if he was a cheater or not, which is why I stated that some dumbasses wouldn't or couldn't comprehend the aforementioned fact. You proved my point by arguing something other than the subject of your thread. :yep

Well now that is a different story. I too was a Margarito fan, but stopped supporting him due to the allegations that arose even though we didn't the full details of the investigation. Too many discrepancies by the CSAC in the way they handled this mess. In my opinion, they are the most to blame for all of this since they SIGNED off on the gloves. Seems a lot of people are overlooking this.

Anyhow, I stopped supporting Margarito for not only bring shame to the sport and putting other peoples lives in danger, but also because he dishonored the proud warrior tradition of Mexican boxers who fought before him. Whether he knew or not is something we will never know, but I blame him for even letting Capetillo remain in his corner during the Mosley fight. He should have fired him right then and there.

To be honest, my theory is that Margarito was weight-drained and wasn't ready for this fight, physically or mentally so they decided to "cheat." That's their fault and they have no one else to blame but themselves.

I also have a little more faith in the Nevada State Athletic Commission and Cotto's uncle who all cleared Margarito of any wrongdoing, thus putting the claim that he had previously cheated in other fights where it belongs, which is the garbage can.

Last of all, at least take into account that he got suspended and got his ass handed to him by another cheat in Shane "HGH" Mosley, who surely was on something during that fight. Remember, once a cheat, always a cheat or so say the Margarito bashers.

 

My only beef is with all those hyprocrites who are quick to jump on Margarito while at the same time defending other fighters who's actions are just as questionable.
An example of this hypocrisy is all those PBF fans who are crucifying Margarito for what the commision said he did but have no problems with Floyd's constant use of his forearm/elbows, which in my opinion is straight out cheating. or Mosley fans who have a huge beef with Margarito for "cheating" but turn a blind eye to the steroids.

The more these jackasses post their feigned indignation the more I cheer for Margarito.

And forgive me for not taking the word of such an inept organization who after a thirty day investigation could only find " traces of plaster of paris"....................Pleaseatsch
