Sdunek was the reason for Wlad´s losses. Nothing else. Vitalis style is so unorthodox and had nothing to do with Sdunek. Sdunek is the badest trainer for a good technican boxer. He is an Amateur-Trainer not a professional. Thank´s god that Wlad noticed it and fired him. Wlad works with Emanuel Steward and he becomes a more complete and better fighter. I hope Chambers win this fight. But it will be very difficult, fight is in germany and Chambers is not a big puncher.
Dimitrenko will beat Chambers. He throws a lot of punches, has really good stamina, has speed, is mobile, knows how to box, has a good chin. Chambers will find that Dimitrenko is in another class than Peter and by far. I remember his sparring sessions at Universum years ago, and he is much better now.
This clip convince me how good Chambers is [yt]<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/l-dfXU8zkQQ&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/l-dfXU8zkQQ&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>[/yt]
Jisi, I gotta say you are way off here. Sdunek was not to blame for Wlad's losses. Wlad gassed against Purrity, in that fight he found a tough SOB that could take a lot of firepower and still answer back. Purrity has gone the distance with Byrd, Donald, Sanders, Rahman, Morrison, Grant and made it to the 11th against Vitali. Wlad was young and thought he could blow right thru him like the others he had faced in his then short career. Against Sanders, Wlad blamed himself for the loss. He was too involved in trying to promote the hometown event and overlooked Sanders. True that Sdunek did nothing to help him between the 1st and 2nd round, but Wlad lost on his own. Sdunek didn't even train him against Brewster. I think we both know something strange happened in that fight, no matter what trainer was in the corner. Sdunek has done very well with Vitali, and he has a undefeated fighter in Dimitrenko. I for one wouldn't want to see Dimitrenko adopt a style like Wladimir's neccessarily, though I would like to see him use his height/reach advantage better and stop trying to in-fight so much.
I am Klitschko fan & I think Wladimir is the only one to blame for his loses. k2fanhas a good post about that. Oh and BTW Dimitrenko will win that fight... UD
Vlad was trying to promote his own fight when he lost to Purrity. It was his fault for not training. He lost in the 11th round when his corner stopped the fight in spite of his protest. The loss to Corrie Sanders was his fault because he did not train for that fight at all, he was so disappointed in Kohl not getting him a top ten fighter after Vlad easily beat McCline. Sanders was in his best shape, training to fight Valouev. Vlad did not spar, went into the ring cold. Vlad make no excuses. Vlad tried to get a rematch, but Sanders refused. Vlad was drugged in the fight with Brewster.
Oh please don't pull that letter out of your rolodex of cut-and-paste posts and post it again for the millionth time It was 2004, he lost, get past it!
You can't blame any trainer for a fighter's lack of heart. A ***** like Wladimir doesn't belong in the ring.
