Wlad in Training camp

Could be, I loved watching Naseem, I've never seen a fighter take it to the extreme lengths he did in the ring and even though Barrera had the beating of him by a long way, Naz will always be remembered for it at least in Britain.

Carl Froch is an odd one, every fight I've seen him in I think he is going to lose with that truly awful defence but sometimes it makes me wonder if he does it on purpose, look at Taylor when he lost his stamina he was still trying to spark out Froch cause of his defence or the lack there of. Froch has as a bigger chin as I've seen on a fighter and is the exception to the rule of which I was talking about Brits without chins but back on point I think he believes that if he lets someone hit him, they'll get sloppy and leave him openings for him to strike with his very powerful 1 2 combinations.

Back on topic though, has anyone heard if Haye has started training, where he is and who he is sparring with? I assume he has and it's probably public knowledge but I've not read anything about it yet.

 

Where Wlad fans say that Wlad is just doing his bit to hype the fight by appearing to care what Haye says.

Why would you assume that Haye is acting and Wlad is not? Wlad is a bright fella, don't you think it's possible he picked Haye deliberately because of the opportunity for the hype?

Let's put it this way. The idea that Haye is only acting like a **** but Wlad is genuinely affected is as impartial as the idea that Haye is really a **** but Wlad is only acting like he cares.

Objectively? It looks like a nonsense perspective.

The most likely story:

Haye is acting like a **** to sell the fight.
Wlad is acting like he cares about how Haye acts - to sell the fight.

Haye, in real life is probably a nice enough guy who acts occasionally like a tosser cause he has a bit of an ego - like plenty of people.
Wlad probably has a bit of a distaste for that personality type and would not choose to socialise with people like Haye.

Read more into it and you are buying the marketting bull****.

 

Body language, Wlad's stuttering reactions. Now he may well be acting, nobody but Wlad knows for sure whether he is acting or not. As everyone else I am just speculating but it would seem to me that Wlad finds it hard to look Haye in the eye when he makes these statements, he tries to be strong and authoritative, yet gets over talked and you can see him get annoyed and snappy about it.

Now if it's an act he is doing a great job of it, Haye I believe is acting because its relentless, repetitive and completely over the top. I do not believe he hates Wlad, I do believe though that he is a boxing fan and as a lot of people are, disillusioned with boring heavy weight fighters. Also it plays into Haye's game, he even says when Wlad says he is going to punish him...come punish me in the middle of the ring and knock me out. Any knowledgeable boxing fan...hell even a first grader can see he is trying to make Wlad angry so he brawls with Haye and fights his type of fight.

This forum had plenty of people going on about that. Their expert opinions and analysis on body language lead them to all sorts of conclusions.

The lesson to be learned is that people see what they want to see. You are seeing what you want to see. There is nothing an objective person would see to indicate that Wlad cared about how Haye is acting.
Just like no objective person could read anything into Pacman's behaviour or body language towards Hatton. Those who were not objective turned out - in remarkably unsurprising fashion - to be about as wrong as it is possible to be.

This forum aint exactly a hotbed of objectivity. Which is a shame, because objectivity is a fundamental of good analysis.

Haye's main sparring partner is Kali Meehan. I don't know where he is, word is somewhere on Cyprus.

They need each other , The brothers domination in Germany aside the division is dead , Wlad needs a defining fight and an entertaining opponent , David needs the title shot and a big " bogey man " hw to fight.

These are two smart guys , who know about self promotion and are aware of how much one needs the other

Objectivity? Like I said I fully expect Wlad to win and to win in the exact same fashion he always does. I believe he does not genuinely like the guy but at the end of the day Haye has always had a mouth and always played up to his image, I do not think this is a ploy to sell tickets, they don't need to, this is Haye playing games to get in the head of his opponent so he fights a certain way. It is just as Mayweather did with Hatton.

 

I think when dave went to the charity event to help starving people in africa that wlad sponsered in england, that really got under wlad skin,,,i don't see wlad using such an event to hype a fight,,,no i am sure wlad really is upset at pizza face for using moves like this to get the fight,,,,,an remember wlad would of been able to sell out these many seats in germany for the last few years, he sells 20,000 seat with in a couple of days, an those tickets were more expensive then what he was selling these seats for.
An i doubt hayes would of got such a peice of **** cut of the purse if wlad did not hold a grudge for his style of getting the fight with him.......an i am sure the only place were this hype has really worked is england,

 

Yeah, that's why Wlad looked amused during the 'confrontation' right? It was one of the more obviously staged events. Tell me, Sherlock, why were the cameras running? Unless Wlad has cameras on him all the time, recording such exciting events as walking up the stairs at the airport.

 

Dr. Watson,,,,i got a few of facts for you, one, at a charity event, you want a lot of media around to help raise money for the cause, so a camera on wlad would not be shocking,, an two, you don't stage somthing like this at a event to help raise money for starving people in this world, it would be tasteless, an to me it is pizza face who was being tasteless there, even know he is pizza face,:yepthird fact,,wlad is a nice guy, he is not going to scream, not at a charity event, not fight promotion event, it not is his nature, that anger comes out in the ring, as we will find out june 20

 

It wouldn't be shocking, but he was just walking up the stairs. He wasn't at the event yet. The whole "Wladimir! Wladimir! .... Ah, Mr Haye, in person!" bit just looked like those staged bits in 'reality' shows. It was just too smooth.

 

I think you're selling the guy's opinion short.Haye is bombarding Wlad with verbal insults and threats which has little effect on Wlad. Look deeper - the case is textbook - Wlad is a very intelligent guy, much smarter then Haye, but he is not an English first speaker, he can not verbally jab with Haye, he just can't think and can't speak as quickly as that jabbermaw; the thoughts are comming to him but he can't spit them out fast enough. The result? Wlad is getting frustrated/annoyed. Probably not enough to cost him the fight, but to what effect we'll only get to see come fight night.

Or these two are doing a far better job of acting then I give them credit for.
