Why Does Antonio Margarito Still Have Fans?

It escapes me.

Lennox Lewis is my favourite boxer but had he pulled the **** Margo did I'd have pushed him to the side and found another fighter, just as I did with Tyson, (hence Lewis).

I can't believe people still support this guy after the **** he's pulled.

 

Which again is why he was banned for 1 year as opposed to life.

Plaster or not, cheating or not...Mosley put his dick in the dirt. The guy was never that good or exciting to begin with..almost all of the people you mentioned have knock out power ...Marg not so much.If you get off by watching to see how many flush punches a guy can take on the chin ( im kind of curious to know how many times you can take his balls bouncing off yours...) and consider it exciting, so be it. For someone who reads from a paper in front of a webcam on youtube, freddy certainly likes to pretend he has inside sources. As to give the impression he's the host of an actual show and has mainstream media connections. Court documents, conversations with the csac etc...unfortunately every time the guy types something he comes across as a complete ****ing idiot. Apparently only Margarito and Capetillo's statements are the only ones that matter. I guess when you make up your own facts and cherry pick parts of the story to mold your own, I can see where the confusion sets in...

And as for his trainer taking the blame at the CASC hearing, of course he was gonna take the blame, boxers makes money for promoters, trainers do not.

I was a Margarito fan, but he got caught CHEATING, and knowing he knew all about it makes me sick.

I personally think he probably used the paster of paris for the Cotto fight too, shame it can't be proven.

You have some backward logic going on here.. Thats like a murder stating If it took the law enforcement a month to figure out that I killed someone, how was I suppose to know I was guilty.


No doubt margarito knew what he was doing was illegal, it just took the Californian attorney office a month to prove it.

 

You're an idiot - He cheated, and knew it. Even if he didn't know which elements were used, it was reported that they would have had to dampen the wraps for the plaster to harden - even that is not allowed.
