Without the cut, Vitali outpoints him everytime. Do you think Lewis can outpoint Vitali? Outpointing Tua and drawing with Mercer doesn't say much for his boxing prowess.:dealYou guys would be all over Wlad if that happened. I think he was ahead on all scorecards even when this pic was taken? Is that right? So go ahead call it crap and ignore the facts.
"Without the cut" my arse. The cut was caused by a punch and things like that happen in boxing. Dyo want fighters to paw at each other for 12 rounds? You can win by T/KO in boxing you know. It doesn't always have to be a points decision.
Cry all you want, here are the facts: Tua and Mercer doesn't say much for his boxing..... Are you for real?? Goto Boxrec since I'm pretty certain that's where you get 99% of your info anyway, Tua was 37-1 and had a swarming style, Lewis dominated. Mercer was a test for anyone, hard as nails, Lewis sneaked it, these things happen. As for the scorecards argument this fight was never going the distance so they don't mean ****. Klitschko could have been viewed as being ahead by some, I have no problem with this, It's the ****-wits that say Vitali was marching to victory i.e you, that I have a problem with. It was never going the distance. Go back, look at Vitali's face after 6 rounds. How do you think he'd look after another 6??:deal
without the knockout, Hide outpoints Vitali everytime. Hide was leading on the cards, if he hadn't been knocked out he would have won.
All I'm saying is you guys show way too much bravado in this match-up, especially since the fight was so controversial and then Lewis backing out of the rematch..:bart
That hole just keeps getting bigger doesn't it? Nothing controversial at all, the guys face was pizza. He had 3 rounds to get Lewis out of there, his corner knew this, they had to, they had a better view of the state of his face than anyone. Backing out? Lewis was talking about retirement 2000-2002. You call him a ducker, I say he knew the hunger to compete wasn't there anymore and after probably the biggest win of his career and past prime doing it decided it was the perfect time to quit. As someone else pointed out, look at my avatar. That's the difference between quiting when you should and carrying on when you shouldn't. Lewis gave me Tyson and Klitschko when he wanted to retire, for big paydays of course but I applaud him for that. Remember, he isn't ducking, it'll just cost $100mil to fight him. Basically thats the price at which Lewis is wiling to risk his health.:deal
