The problems in 3rd world countries are more basic that what you see here, but at the same time, more challenging. Imagine that you have a house with 10K worth of bills and only 4K coming in, the rest 2K in loans, etc.
Poverty just comes with the game. However, the main problem in countries like that is corruption, and very Pyrrhic basic services.
Pac may feel that he can do a good job at improving basic services and curb a bit on poverty.

The best he can do is to improve the quality of life in his province and work on social programs. His fame can afford him to be a good diplomat and get loans or international investment.

Pacman just has become a crossover hit and now he wants to retire? Boxing will get screwed again if he does. He needs to do boxing a favor and stick around for at least 2 more years.

if his last fight is in October, he needs a fight PRONTO in July..preferably on the same day as the JMM-Mayweather card.

Will Timothy Bradley or Edwin Valero please stand up.

The money for the rematch won't compare with the money he will make if he becomes president of the Philippines. We are talking billions here.

I hate to see Pac retire but if he does it against PBF atleast his legacy will be complete.
