All of you who give the first fight to Castillo. Have a forum meeting find the 7 rounds he won then we can all talk about it... Will be fun

I had ir 7-4 and 1 even. I didnt think it was that close. I think Berto-Collazo or Pacquiao-Marquez II was way harder to judge then Mayweather-Castillo

Floyd won first 5 rounds of their first fight. Hard to lose on points if you do that.

    10 and 11 were clearly PBF's round

I mentioned this long ago. Long long ago. If Castillo won, what ****ing rounds did he win? Nobody that claimed they SCORED the fight for him can answer the question. If you gave Castillo the 3rd round you are a total joke b/c Floyd landed the most punches in that round. And Castillo did not win every round after the 4th..lol in which he would need to do to win the fight.

I can see you scoring it a Draw or Castillo by one round..but no way in gods name can you score it any further than that. Regardless it was a close fight with Castillo being busy landing grinding punches that did little damage.

Well, he still is in my book because I said it was a close fight & MAYBE Castillo shouldnt have lost his title, in a 50/50 fight I have no problem with the decision.

I believe it was settled in the rematch tho.

I just watched the first fight again, and if I scored the fight LEANING TOWARD MAYWEATHER ON CLOSE ROUNDS that I couldn't decide, I had it a draw. I gave Mayweather rounds 1 through 4 and round 11, and I had the two rounds where Mayweather and Castillo had point taken both scored as 9-9 rounds (Lederman gave Castillo a 10-8 round on the Mayweather point deduction). I gave everything else to Castillo.

So, AT BEST, I had the first fight scored as a draw. If I GAVE CLOSE ROUNDS TO Castillo, Castillo would have won it. I would have a hard time being convinced that Mayweather won the first fight in any fashion, although I think I could be convinced of a draw.

The second fight, as everyone says, was clearly Mayweather's.

Your problem you need to justify giving Castillo rounds 5 and 6. They were not CASTILLO rounds.. These were the close rounds...1-4 were not close in the sligthest. You are a joke.

1-4 and 10 clear Floyd, Castillo 7,8,9,12 clear Castillo although round 9 was close and when Floyd started to make a comeback.

Toss ups are 5,6 and 11. I favor Floyd in 5 and 11 thus you have a clear win.

That's what I meant...rounds 1 to 4 clearly to Mayweather, and I gave him 11th (some would disagree with that) and scored the 10th even due to the penalty - I thought Mayweather was winning that round as well.

The REST of the rounds, I thought, were Castillo rounds. Castillo started to shift the momentum in the 5th round and continued to push the issue for the rest of the fight, giving Floyd major problems. Again, MAYBE Floyd eeks out a draw, but not a victory in the first fight IMO.

It's not a bad fight, it gets more interesting as the rounds go by.

I have it 115-112 for Jose Luis Castillo.

    Mayweather-Castillo
    1.10-9
    2.10-9
    3.10-9
    4.9-10
    5.9-10
    6.9-10
    7.9-10
    8.9-9
    9.9-10
    10.9-9
    11.10-9
    12.9-10

    112-115

It was a close fight, but I felt that JLC won..
