Can Pac achieve what Henry Armstrong did in his era? (Holding titles in multiple weight divisions at the same time). And can Armstrong also achieved what Pac has done lately winning 3 consecutive higher weight division titles in a row(SFW,LW & JW) vice-versa?

    Your opinions please?

I'm comparing if Pac was in Armstrong era & Armstrong in Pac's era. I know it was tough back then because of the same day weigh-in but during that time boxers had no skills if you happen to watch old clips. Unlike today boxers have months to prepare and majority have boxing skills and a day before weigh-in, where they can rehydrate on the fight day.. What can you say about this?

Impossible for any boxer in our current era. Holding belts in different weight divisions is now "illegal". A boxer must give up his title if he were to move to a different weight division.

Well in the span of 14 months Pac accomplished

    Lineal at 130
    Title at 135
    Lineal at 140

its still nowhere near as impressive as Armstrong who held titles in 3 of the original 8weightclasses and the weight difference between each weight class is much more than today's weight class. However Pacman's accomplishment is still very great.

I think William's though has a chance of having the same accomplishment as Armstong if he would only get the fights.

There is no comparison at all ... Armstrong did things that Pac couldn't even imagine doing and at a far higher scale.

Those were legit titles ... no one else could dispute him being the champion and it spanned from featherweight, lightweight, and welterweight ... Pac won a legit featherweight title, but hasn't won a legit lightweight title or welterweight title.

Just because he beat a DLH doesn't grant that kinda appreciation.

Even if it was one sanctioning body they wouldn't let him hold or defend those belts at the same time.

Floyd Mayweather held the WBC welterweight and junior middleweight titles - he was forced to vacate one.

Armstrong fought 10 times in month. Could Pacquiao?

Floyd in under 24 months held the WBC light welterweight, welterweight, and light middleweight titles.

Let's say Henry Armstrong is fighting in Pac's era, could he achieve what Pac has accomplished?

Paul Williams actually could be closer to the Henry Armstrong of this than Pac.

140 isn't really a welterweight or a lightweight ... its inbetween. Not in the same class as the old timers.
