Its funny how Calzaghe has respect from his peers ... and fighters who were a generation or so ahead of him.

Its really crazy how he's the greatest super middleweight ever ...

one of only a few fighters with 20 consecutive title defenses ...

undisputed supermiddleweight champion (held all belts)

    two-division linear champion

Like I said before ... I don't think Jones or Hopkins would never be able to beat Calzaghe.

Well Hatton has to be up there, he made thousands and thousands of people believe that he was an elite fighter.
All the hype he was getting was ridiculous.

The most overrated boxer is Pacquiao ... he hasn't fought everyone ... he's more known for fighting brawlers - no boxers ... he fought in two divisions fighting the same 3 guys. After super featherweight there isn't any credible opponents on his resume (not talking about the name but the quality of the fighter)

Ya'll are some dumbasses. Calzaghe just beat BHop decively and in my opinion made him hold on for dear life and fake a hard low blow to save his ass from embarassment.

Calzaghe can box, but most of ya'll don't know what the **** boxing is....

Zab = IBF welterweight champion and 1 fight removed from undisputed championship

Baldomir = Universally recognized undisputed welterweight champion

Gatti = blood and guts warrior and reigning WBC light welterweight champion ... on a different level than say a David Diaz

Corely = tune up fight moving up in weight - 1 fight removed from WBO championship

Hatton = undefeated undisputed/ linear light welterweight champion, former WBA welterweight champion - did I mention he was undefeated at the time they fought?

DLH = WBC super welterweight champion ... and just came off an exciting victory over Mayorga for the strap.

Mitchell = welterweight tune up ... former light welterweight champion - good measuring stick fight.

    Pacquiao on the other hand

    Morales
    Marquez
    Barrera

= only notable fights at feather and super featherweight you can throw names out but they won't compare to those three.

David Diaz = not on the level of any Mayweather opponent on the championship stage

Oscar DLH = tail end of career ... brought nothing to the table but his name

Hatton = couldn't escape the Mayweather defeat

So are those Floyd's "credible opponents"?

I love how you try to make his wins more spectacular than they really were.
Gatti "blood and guts warrior" he's a C level fighter that was already past his "best".

lol Baldomir- "Universally recognized undisputed welterweight champion" -GTFO, he's **** and you ****ing know it.

Hatton was always overrated specially at welter, and unofficially lost to Collazo at welter.

Oscar was also past it in the Floyd fight. And no he didn't just came off an excisting win over Mayorga, he was coming off a 1 year layoff.

Seriously you are a good poster, but when it comes to Floyd:patsch
