What I said in my previous post still stands, the more you run down his skills or lack of, the more remarkable his achievements.

You sound bitter mate, perhaps you should'nt have picked the guy in your avatar pic to win.
I get the feeling we may see you with a "Bute Who?" avatar in the not too distant future.

Don't know about Booradley but I, don't hate Froch. Big heart, big will, good pop. Fact remains that he was being outbox. Don't get me wrong, it was a nice win! But i wouldn't bet on him in a rematch! As for Bute, i think he would beat Froch by UD. I don't think Froch has what it takes to beat skilled boxers.

I think Boo had the ultimate line. Bute is more than 16 seconds better than Taylor.

Taylor has his flaws. Mainly gas tank and skill can't make up for that. The more tired you are, the less your skills can help you.

He is. And he was winning. Of course any guy can beat any guy on any giving night. Do you think Froch will always knock people out with 10 seconds to go? Despite some good skills, Its been twice now we see Taylor losing a fight by gasing out and/or being caught careless. All props to Froch. But if you expect it to be like that everytime i dont know what to say. Froch will have to improve his boxing skills if he wants to stay there.

I would expect a boxing clinic from the romanian southpaw. Hey, i could be wrong!

So he is a boxer with little stamina?

But the questions was - is Taylor a skilled boxer? Because apparently Froch cannot beat skilled boxers...

Ummm........ I answered that. Skills go away with fatigue. Taylor was not able to use his skills in the last rounds because of fatigue. So, lets make this a 10 round fight. Taylor probably takes 9 out of 10. Froch admitted he started slow because he had to wait for Taylor to tire. We can take turns twisting this, but Froch can't hang with a skilled fighter as long as the guy is fit to use those skills. Froch would do well to get 15 rounders to come back.

Froch-Taylor was a good scrap and it looks good on Froch resume but still, you can't really put him on top because nobody is on top right now until the real fights happen between the champs...

Taylor is an athletic boxer. He's not slick. His footwork is not very good (fast but not precise) so when he tires, he cannot use his athletic capabilities to get him out of trouble.

With Frochs last two fights esp against Taylor he has to be no.2 in the 168 division.Kesslers still no 1 because he put up a skillfull performance in his defeat against Calzaghe whilst Froch is a bit of a lumbering puncher but Froch imo is no 2.
