Just taking two fighters from the Wild Card gym Manny Pacquiao from the Philippines, and Amir Khan who's parents are from Pakistan. Both fighters have crazy fast hand speed and both fighters blood line comes from S.E Asia.

just watch japanese anime and chinese kung fu flicks bro. ****ing insane, really. speed is always the key in fights, and a lot of fighting styles have come from asiia where speed is the key element.

karate, judo, tae kwan do, muay thai, etc. its ingrained in our system.

hmm says... I guess it's because smaller people don't have to deal with the issue of lugging extra weight compared to larger people, higher bone density, muscle mass, etc. I guess it makes kinda sense.........

But Manny is mostly retaining his speed even at higher weights.

hmm says... I dunno how to best explain it... but I guess I can give you a personal example.. Jr. High School I ran my 100 m dash in 12.24 sec. High School, I didn't grow in height but I did add some weight and muscle and ran my 100 m faster in 11.87 sec. My speed not only improved, but I also improved my lifting max/strength in the gym. I guess he's just physically active..... maybe Manny didn't retain his speed but gotten faster and stronger..

hmm says... Oh I weighed about 120-130lbs in jr high and 140 lbs in high school. I guess Pac is at his optimal weight.. cause after I hit 150lbs... I slowed the hell down.

Yeah I think anything over 140-145lbs and Pac will start to slow down, but even at 147 Pac looked so fast vs ODH.

a nearly spat out my breakfast readin this ****

how many racially motivated/ orientated threads are we gona have?

race has NOTHING to do with talent. dedication, desire, work rate, aggessiveness

khan and pacman are two completely different races anyway, they have as much in common as an eskimo and someone in nigeria

Boxers fighting in lighter divisions (whatever race they may be) are usually fast punchers and not slow, plodding brawlers.

Most asian boxers fight at 105 to 135.

Khan and Pacman are both from Asia, both have very fast hand speed something which is a natural gift, you are born with.

Apart from Khan and Pac which other Asian fighters have blazing handspeed?

It has nothing to do with where you're born,

I could make a thread saying African Americans have great handspeed.

Mosely, Meldrick Taylor, RJJ, Ali, Judah, FMJ, SRL etc.
