If Pacquiao is the P4P King, Why is PBF the highest paid boxer today?

    If Pacquiao is the P4P King, Why is PBF the highest paid fighter today?

    pacquiao received only 12M in the hatton fight, PBF will be receiving 15M...

    ofcourse, there is still the ppv share

    Pacquiao was GUARANTEED $12m. He will most likely end up with a fair bit more.

    Like it or not, Floyd is a bigger draw than Pacquiao in the USA, where the money is. He has also fought more 'money fighters' than Pac, and generally, other than DLH of course, received the larger share of the purse.

    Good point.. that proves that skill and P4P status doesnt nessasarily equate to the most Money :deal

    Both are huge names and with Pac's recent major wins I believe he deserves 50/50.

    2 reasons.

    1 Whoever is paying Mayweather that is an idiot who wants to lose money.

    2 At no point were Pernell Whittaker, Roy Jones or Bernard Hopkins the biggest draw in the sport despite being p4p no1.

    Mayweather has a character a loud mouth and brings some drama into the game.

    Pacquiao just does his job.

    PBF is the bigger draw and can sell fights and he's not with that POS snake Arum like Manny is who takes half of his money.

    What's your source that Floyd is getting 15 million?

    After PPV I would say there is no certainty who will be making more...

    True, he's always got an insane amount compared to any other fighter. Made up to around 50 million in one fight.
