    anyone got any idea how much journey men get paid and domestic title fight or does it really matter who the fighter is

    Journeyman get between 20 and 30 pounds for a 6times 3 minute fight.

    Im sure they get more than that, a few hundread quid at the least

    Is it really as low as £20? I would have thought journeyman would want a bit more to be a punchbag.

    Who was that guy that retired last year??? peter somehting. He was one of the top 10 earners in british boxing each year due to the amount of fights he had.

    your looking at £500-1k for an average fight and £2.5-£5k if your fighting someone high profile. this is for British guys, eastern europeans and africans get less.

    Peter Buckley, he also did well because he was prepared to come in a late notice.

    from what i've heard you get £500 if your a journeyman then it builds up if your a prospect and a challenger or champion.

    lad i know fought amir khan 2 year back and he got about £25k

    read an interview with a guy called tony booth and he got 5k for fighting david haye in hayes first fight

    you get paid what you like when ur always ready to step in, even at a day or 2's notice........... name that price ....... INNIT

    Yep, the guys that come in and "save the show" at the last minute do very well.
