As a great champion, probably. Moving up to 147 was the worst thing he could do.

it wasn't where judah fought that held him back from bigger success it was his lack of discipline and maturity that did.

i'll always be able to watch zab fights and marvel at his skillset because i think he's the most naturally gifted fighter since jones.

but he's also one of the most flawed.

He may have gotten the fight with Oscar that he longed for his entire career.

    judah biggest mistakes

    1) letting tzu punch him in the face
    2) trying to get up straight after tzu punched him in the face
    3) fighting baldomir
    4) pissing off cotto and fighting cotto

but then these are the things that made zab judah, zab judah and fun to watch and entertaining to listen to. He wasnt with the elite bunch anyway but atleast he went for the big money fights and made $$$$

id love to see that fight. zabs main weakness was his deffense which in this case probably wont end him up on the floor

I think it was always Judah's destiny to be the stepping stone fight.
(the tuff better be on your best game fight!)

Dont think he could handle the power of the bigger guys. And brought none of the power up with him. He had his speed though but with his fighting style if he aint knocking them out there gonna knock him out

Zab's problem was that he his entire boxing career he was trained by his father, who was a former MMA fighter who didn't know **** about boxing. Had Zab been developed by a good trainer who taught him how to box, he could have been great.

isn't the answer to the thread title question a simple yes. lww's been relatively weak and zab would've been one of the top dogs for some time.

Judah could have had a better carrer so far if he woulda stayed at 140..he wouldn't have been fighting guys who walk around at 165-170 but rather guys his own size!
