RJJ, Hopkins,Taylor, Bute, Mayeathwather - none of these guys could be bothered to bothered to go abroad. This guy wants big fights NOW. That deserves respect anything less is pure hatred. no matter how you perceive his skills.

Point in fact he's made it abundantly clear what he wants & given the fact he went stateside to fight Jermain for his 1st defence who are we to argue otherwise?

Dangerous given the clear fact of ref bias when Andrade put Bute on his ass in Canada....

This is what I'm talking about!!!

I admit I'd probably just give the nod to Kessler here but none the less I'm a boxing fan and big fights are what I want to see! Go Carl!

This is the issue he is in that position but has gone public chasing the best and history tells us he doesn't just trash talk (like Toney) he will fight whoever's put in front of him better or worse.

Carl Froch: Argue all you like about his boxing skills but do not question his heart. Froch's like a SMW mexican ; he fights with his heart on his sleeve & I love that fact because it's going to make for some amazing matchups over the new few years.....

Yup! I'm in no way an admirer of his ability, but its a breath of fresh air to see a boxer with this lack of caution.

agreed when he was 1st starting off he came across as being arrogant but not now hes backed up everything hes said sure theres more to come. He can certainly do a number on anyone at SMW nothing to fear

have said all along Froch is the opposite of Calslappy and Hatton......great guy for the sport. BTW i'd make Kessler a decent fave over him.

Completely agree, Froch, Haye and Khan are fighters that can do britain proud.

Although Froch's technical skills are abit suspect, he does have power. He's got a great heart and will fight anyone put infront of him in his division unlike Calzaghe. The guy always speaks his mind he don't give a ****. He's cool and all his opponent always like him even though he's beaten them. Pascal is now a friend and his sparring partner and Taylor is a friend of his now, Froch even offered him a rematch straight after the fight because he said Taylor is a warrior and deserves it.

why is hatton not a 'great guy' for boxing?

he had the balls to leave warren and take all the chances in the world to eventually land the floyd fight?

hatton is good for boxing but he's had his chances at the bigtime and he blew them, no shame in it against the best.

However he does get annoying with that "im everyone's best friend" type of act.

Fair play to him, he's got a great attitude when it comes to his career.

Mind you, he's had 25 fights in 7 years. He should really have done more in the middle of his career.
