Kessler may well be the best at 168lbs... But it's time to step up and prove it,,, or get to the back of the line. There's way too many talented and known fighters at 168 for him to be sitting back fighting no name stiffs a couple times a year at best!

WTF is this guy doing with his career???

Point to the right people, not his fans. his manager Palle is destroying Kessler's career by haveing him fight no name tomato cans. hope he can back up to the level after fighting such underdogs.

Fact is, kessler of last year could beat Bute, Froch, Pascal, greene, and all of the top ten in Ring's rankings.

Another fact is yeah - where's the proof?

I dont give him credit for that defeat. He fought the wrong game plan, it was competitive in the first couple of rounds when he boxed with Calzaghe, but as soon as he got hurt he went to brawling for the next 8-7 rounds and got schooled.

Kessler is a great boxer, but how he reacts when hes in trouble remains in doubt.

Thats sounds good but when is going to fight a legit name? Thats all I'm saying...I'm not trying to hate on the guy but Kessler does get a lot of praises just from his loss to Calzaghe...I do think he's a good fighter but he needs to prove himself...He could easily get out of the situation if he really tried a little harder(between him &Palle) nothing is impossible...He hasnt done anything lately!

Again I ask...What has he done lately?

Why Froch gain so much respect for beating a blown up middleweight, why Vitaly get respect for loosing to Lewis, why Valuev is champion, why stupid thread like this exist....

Whilst there are some admirable conspiracy theories in here, the simply truth is that Kessler is avoided like the plague - and that's why hes finding it incredibly difficult to get the fights he wants.

He put in the strongest performance of anyone against Calzaghe and that is why he was praised. He is possibly the only man who Calzaghe suspected might be able to beat him. Ask the man himself, he rates him head and shoulders above anyone he ever fought. That's enough for me.

Dude what are you talking about...Several fighters have been calling out Kessler he's yet to respond...I dont know if its Palle or whoever but that just a BS statement to say Kessler is avoided given that Miranda and other have been calling out for a while now.

I think he does have legitimate legal troubles. I doubt he's just lazy.

Why on earth would Mikkel Kessler want to fight Miranda? A guy who has lost twice to Abraham and KO'd by Pavlik? That's the whole point I am making - the only people calling him out are people he'd walk through and who aren't deserving of the fight.

It's also correct that Kessler and Team Palle have a major legal dispute that is going to hit the courts in Denmark.

He's not fought since October, so whilst I think he's fair game for people to start questioning what he's going to do next - I think it's all too easy to point fingers when the main contenders have shown no serious interest in fighting him.

I don't have the answer per se, I'm merely suggesting that the fights Kessler would like to give us all aren't fights that other camps want to agree to.

Not doubting you, but please show me the quote where Cal said he was "head and shoulders" above anyone he's faced? And if he said that did it come before or AFTER the Hopkins fight?

Also, your claim that Kessler gave Cal his toughest fight is HIGHLY debatable.

Fail...Many belt holder and top conteders have targeted Kessler and got turned down...So please explain to me how is being avoided? Its really not makeing any sense to say he's being avoided when fighters are calling him out left and right.

    Okay, so I was paraphrasing.

However, his exact words were "Kessler's the second-best super middle in the world".

Then, on this very forum, you'll find that Calzaghe said "Mikkel Kessler is a better fighter than Bernard Hopkins."

It doesn't get much more conclusive than that.
