Who and why? I think you'll find that the 'why' explains a lot.

Chad Dawson (at a catchweight), Lucian Bute, Carl Froch, and many others.

So if you're going to do that...who is worthy of fighting him then...Countless mando's???

Once again, was that BEFORE or after he fought Hopkins? As I recall, Hopkins put him on his ass AS WELL as the scoring being MUCH closer. If you recall the Hopkins fight was a SD? When did he issue that quote??

    Regardless, you have an agenda.

Joes toughest fiht was Robin Reid....many thought he lost...I thou won by 1 round.

It was Joes toughest fight...joe wont admit it because...he hates Reid. Reid is of Italian ancestry and there was plenty of bad blood...His toughest fight and narrow win (Sd like hopkins...which is why he dint rematch it...too risky...remember Joe loves his unbeaten record.

imagine if Mayweather didnt give castillio a rematch, Pacman avoided Marquez...Jones didnt rematch Tarver, and many more.those guys are genuine legends.
Calzaghe doesnt do rematches....Calzaghe doesnt do RISK. unless its super Mario Veit

I have no agenda at all.

None whatsoever. All we have is people saying Boxer X called out Kessler. Well I could too, and maybe he'd say 'yeah, bring it on', but when I then make silly money demands or try to slither my way out of deal cos' I didn't expect him to take the offer....well then we start to find answers.

Seriously, Kessler means little to me other than the fact he is a world class boxer. Nothing more. The rest, well apart from Hopkins, ummm, they're not.

Calzaghe also said that Peter Manfredo Jr. was a superstar in America which is a bold face lie...So I'm suppose to take his word for it when he's clearly trying to up kessler because he won a UD over him???

I wouldn't dispute that Calzaghe made himself look like a fool by saying what he did about Manfredo Jnr and by taking that fight. No-one took the fight seriously and rightly so.

Calzaghe spoke highly of Kessler long before his fight with him though.

I agree he should buy himself out of his contract if he can't get the fights he wants. It's getting beyond ridiculous now.

Dude, i 100% agree with you - where the **** is Kessler. it IS palle.
apparently he has only 1 or 2 fights left with him, then is free to move to another camp or something along these lines. We may well see another tomato can. i just dont' get it.

fighters are no longer avoiding him by the way. they used to, now they're all interested in that top spot.

Chad Dawson called him out but he quickly shot him down. Whats's wrong with Dawson?

Exactly...Kessler is a talented guy, he seriously needs to try to find a better Management team because Palle is doing a **** poor job with Kessler career....Palle, IMO is doing things out of spite because of a couple of disagreements he and Kessler has had in the past....Palle is really making Kessler look bad IMO....I'd love to see him solidy his greatness with big name fights but under Palle, we as fans arent going to see any good fights from Kessler because of the douchebag Palle.

If I was Kessler I would try to hook up with an established Promoter to better my career.

Are you kidding me? That fight was no where near close, and he was both out boxed and out classed. HOPKINS and REID fought to close fights with Calzaghe, and truthfully Kessler won 4 rounds at best. Even Bika and Eubank did a lot better than Kessler.

With that being said, I'm not doubting his skills. Hes a very good fighter and probably the most skilled at super middle( until Dawson moves down), i just think there's a lot of hype surrounding him and his performance against Joe is overrated. He was no longer in the fight from about round 6 on.

Sounds like this is a direct question to something I said in another thread. Would have made more sense to ask it in context of that thread though instead of starting a new one. Of course I think it was answered than anyhow.

Bottom line, your resume is who you have fought. Kessler has arguable fought the toughest even though it was a loss and many feel he is still the best in the division, though like I said in the other thread, his skills could be eroding because he hasn't fought any tough competition lately. You still rank the division by who you THINK would beat everyone else until they actually fight.

And the original context was a thread where someone says Froch is THE MAN TO BEAT at SMW.
