Pavlik Should Dump Top Rank Immediately

Not just Pavlik, every single fighter should get away from Bob Arum.


He's only interested in making fights like Pavlik vs Mora, Cotto vs Jennings etc etc

Kelly could do much better for himself if he left him. Im pretty sure Kelly himself didnt want to fight Gary Lockett or Rubio.

No way in hell he wants to fight those lame-ass dudes. It's just that Arum either doesn;t have the confidence in him, or he thinks he can starve out people to make them excited about big fights. Either way, the **** is a scam.

 

U do realise that is not politically correct, the correct title for ppl like yourself is learning disabilities and that is clearly what u have if u cant see that Pavlik aint fighting the big fights. 2 of his lost 3 fights were against poor opponents in between a schooling from BHop. Thr are no other good fights for him at the weight except Abrahams, a fight I think Pavlik would actually win.

Boo I honestly think Pavlik did not want the fight from day one. I mean us as fans were not happy with Mora, can you imagine how kelly is feeling and what he probably is going thru. He is a stand up guy that will fight anyone if it was on his terms. I honestly feel, Top Rank after the Pavlik loss REALLY does not want to put him in with a valid opponent and I am sure Kelly and his team are gettting irritated. We can say the same thing about aa as far as his opponents, I know you don't agree but I still say aa has fought the better opposition IN AT LEAST in last three fights. I feel bad for pavlik and if arum is not thinking highly of him to match him up with a toughter opponent then MORA, then it is time to dump that jerk. I was writing the other day to a different post and MY ideal fight would be either aa or pavlik to fight "the most avoided man" for there last apperance at 160:deal

 

Arum is a pile of ****. I've said a few times Kelly should go to GBP.

If Arum really cared about Kelly

A) the hopkins fight would not have happend.

B) or hopkins would have came down to 160 to fight pavlik

 

Arum is just trying to get every last penny out of kelly that he can--hes always been that way with every fighter he has and will continu to do so as long as fighters stay with him. Bottom line.

 

Well, according to the paper, Kelly just signed a new one year deal.

Well this is fabulous ****ing news. The way Arum's dicking Pavlik around, maybe Kelly'll get a new nickname to go along with The Ghost - "Domestic Kessler". What's next after Mora? One of those rematches nobody wants to see that are becoming en vogue these days? Hell, I'm sure Grady Brewer would be down for one of those.
