...Leonard couldn't win going toe to toe with Pacquiao? You must be joking.

Pac is getting in the neighborhood of Whitaker in terms of accomplishments, and wins over Marquez and Mayweather would put him above no doubt in my mind, but yes, Whitaker would win head to head and I don't think many would dispute that.

the funny thing is, pacquiao is so underrated in head-to-head match-ups that he loses to everyone but inside the ring is a different story. if a fight with barrera at 126 didn't happened, i wouldn't surprised that most people would pick MAB in a fantasy match-up because of his tremendous skills.

That's because most people have a very reductive idea of what boxing is all about. If you have a slick boxing style, you are "skilled". If you don't fight in that style, you are "limited" or "flawed" or "one-dimensional". It never dawns on these people that the "limited" fighter might be so effective at what he does that he would destroy a far slicker boxer. A good example of this was Mijares-Darchinyan.

I can't believe you have the gall to post a thread here. You lost your credibility, dude, for not honoring the avatar bet. :deal No one is taking you seriously.

This is why pac will never be ahead of Whitaker or SRL

    - he punches like an amateur
    - does the same move again and again
    - he has no skills
    - he's just throwing wild shots
