I had been on a roll for the past two years, I had literally nailed almost every big fight in that timespan, not just the winner but the way it would play out

Then I went and picked Hatton against Pac

Now, it was partially a case of picking with my heart and not my head, but it was still an awful prediction given the annihilation that occurred

What is the worst prediction everyone here has made for a big fight?

    Golota over Lewis

I know I'm far from being alone in picking Margarito over Mosley, De La Hoya over Pacquiao, and thinking Pacquiao-Hatton would be a competitive fight. In retrospect though, those predictions are pretty funny given how badly the losers of those bouts were dominated.

(If they dont say pts or KO, it means I couldnt decide how it would end but I still picked a fighter to win)

    DLH by KO over Pacquiao
    Hatton by decision over Pacquiao
    Margarito by Decision over Mosely
    Cotto by decision over Margarito
    Mosely over Cotto
    DLH over Mayweather
    Hamed by KO over Barrera
    DLH by decision over Hopkins

I know that looks real bad  but I predicted most of the other big fights correct (I think)

    :good

My worst ever was Tyson v Lewis.

I put that down to knowing very little about the sport at that time.

However, many in the fight business also backed Tyson - do not forget that!

Like most Pavlik-Hopkins. To be fair to us though Hopkins had looked pretty old in his last couple of fights (Calzaghe, Wright, even to a degree Tarver). The worst was taking Baldomir over Mayweather, but that was more a value bet as Baldo had pretty good odds.

    Pavlik over Hopkins.

Hatton vs Pacquiao. I basically envisioned that this would be another version of the Margarito - Cotto fight, which I predicted right (late TKO), and primarily because of the size and aggression of the bigger guy. I thought Hatton's strength and rough housing style will make Pac uncomfortable. God, I was right.
