jmm will try to make a statement on this fight. if pbf percieves he can't beat jmm , pbf will not risk his zero "L". He'll be running all night and try to put some show on some rounds.
pbf will be happy to win on points but would not outbox jmm.

Cuz like lennox lewis he didn't get to fight the best fighters until late in his career. Even though he is older than morales and barrera. He didnt get to fight barrera until he was past his prime and he never got a chance to fight morales.

Even now lewis still gets little respect for beating holyfield and tyson just like JMM will after he retires. Not many people will give him much credit for beating barrera and casamayor since both were past their prime by the time marquez beat them.

He fought CASA and won! The joy that jmm fans got was rediculous coz some of them think CASA is still prime at 37 ..

Yeah right! it's the first ko loss of CASA ! Dude, if the guy is 37 what do you expect..He's no hopkins

For example if somebody beats PAC at 30. He will get a lot of respect. If you beat pac at 37 granting he still fights till 37. Will that boxer get the same respect? BEATING PAC at 37?!

JMM's style is not suited for counterpunchers. Look at how he performed against Barrera, a good counterpuncher. He was not able to knock him down. On the contrary, he got knocked down himself. He lost to Chris John, a good counterpuncher too.:deal

Lets put the knockdowns against Pacquiao in better perspective my friend.....true JMM went down 4 times against Pac......but the facts are that 3 were in the very first round they ever fought........Pac is fast destroyer type, and the mistake by JMM was not guaging Pac's ability to close the gap that quickly.....in hindsight the 3 knockdowns in the very first round they fought is not such a shocker in that JMM is a type that sets in the pocket and looks to counter at every single opportunity.

Enough of this JMM went down 4 times against Pac.....let me put it in better perspective, Marquez went down only once in the last 23 rounds fought agaisnt Pac.....and Pac is certainly a better p4p puncher than Mayweather Jr.

JMM shows up to fight, which is the reason that on occasion he might go down, as JMM being a "true" counterpuncher, is always at punching distance.......but make no mistake, the man though having gone down a few times in his career, has only been hurt once, and it was in the Pacquiao rematch.......

......rest assured that JMM's chin is solid, and that will be proven vs Mayweather.

What people have to think about is Mayweather's chin solid????......though he's much younger than JMM, Mayweather is now older......

.....against a Marquez who's just gotten through stopping two tough fighters never stopped before.....can Mayweather's chin hold up if Marquez is able to land precise shots off the counter......

I already know that JMM's chin is solid to hold up, but Mayweather who has never been hit consistently in a fight, can his chin hold up if JMM is sharp that night, and Mayweather is forced to have to open up and respond from Marquez precise accurate shots....

.....listen, if JMM has sucess in landing sharp early, Mayweather is going to have no choice but to throw hands.....and that will open up avenues for both fighters to land.........can Mayweather Jr. stand up to the precise shots of JMM is a bigger question mark imo than can JMM withstand punches by Mayweather.

Mayweather, like Guzman, are the boxers JMM wil have difficulty beating. Slick, fast, with good solid defense.

Especially Mayweather who has an underrated power, especially if the fight will be at 140, and against someone who is naturally smaller than him, his punches will have their telling effect.

This is an interesting boxing fight, and I am not counting out JMM, but I just don't see JMM pulling a decisive win.

I think JMM will get old in one fight! I think he will show his age in the Floyd fight. All those fights will eventually catch up to him. As much as i want him to win, i just dont see it happening.

*******s don't truly respect JMM like they say they do. At least very few of them do. They'll **** on him when it's convenient!

Marquez carried his power to 135 but he aint fighting a juan diaz or a casamayor now. Those guys were there for him to hit, as much as i dont like mayweather he has a very good defense and is not an easy target.
Yes he got tag couple of times by judah but judah is known for his speed, marquez is not.

really the question is can marquez take mayweather's punches? Mayweather is much more accurate with his punches so if marquez goes down, i would not be surprise if mayweather finished him when he gets back up.
