That Hopkins would beat Taylor .. both times. And then that Taylor would beat Pavlik both times. Taylor is the guy who has cost me the most bar none.

Definitely Pavlik-Hopkins; I thought Hopkins was through, but he proved me wrong in a big way.

    Mijares-Darchynian was another one.

Roy vs Tarver III, a good case of thinking with my heart instead of my head.

I had picked Lennox to destroy Rahman the first time around.

I thought Molitor would decision Caballero.

Mosley over Forrest, both times. Forrest then returned the favor of cursing my picks in the first Mora match.

I actually had money down on Andy Lee vs Brian Vera, and I'm still a little sore at that one.

I thought Mosley was through and that Margo would just outwork him and grind him down while Mosley relied too much on brawling and throwing overhand rights. Oops.

I never made a formal prediction, but I though B-hop was through and that even though Pavlik wasn't in his class, all Pavlik had to do was show up and not stink up the place in order to win. Whoops.

Only other one I really remember is way back when, in the first Holyfield-Tyson fight. Between Holyfield's health problems after the first bout with Moorer, a "faith healing" and how done he looked in the third fight against Bowe when he had Bowe in trouble, I thought Evander was going to get taken out on a stretcher.

My worst prediction recently was Lyakhovic to beat Valuev.
I thought he could employ the blueprint set by Chagaev and use just enough lateral movement to keep Valuev off-balance.
It's one thing being wrong - but when the guy you tip for victory doesn't win a single round ...

I did exactly the same. I had a decent reputation on a particular gambling website, built over the last 3-4 years as someone who could pick 'em. Then I went and put this as my biggest bet for years:patsch

    Grant vs Lewis :patsch
Which i'm blaming on Glenn McCrorys hard-on for Grant. :D
Anyone remember him being at Grant's training camp before the fight and telling Sky Sports that Lewis wasn't gonna be able to beat his man, he has everything Lewis has but he's bigger and better.
But what he didn't tell the world was Grant didn't have Lewis' chin :rofl
