Marquez counter punches so ****ing well PBF has never been in with someone like that. I really think floyd is much much more cocky than when he faced jose, I just think this fight is going to be won in the championship rounds i know floyd very well i see this fight being won in rounds 10,11,12 to me those are the real rounds.. the more i think of this fight the harder i think it will be for pbf.:bbb

FLoyd-Castillo fought at lightweight. Both were lightweight at the time so there wasn't much of a size difference. This time mayweather has the size advantage against a much smaller marquez.

Castillo is a completely different style of fighter

Although the Joy Boys always made me laugh when they claimed Floyd would beat JCC or Duran, I think he will beat Marquez fairly handily unless he's rusty. Stylistically, JMM just doesn't have the size or power to beat Floyd IMO

Castillo beat the crap out of Void, but Void's judges saved him. However, a rematch was ordered because of the complaints by so many fans. Void lost his arse.

Castillo was a bigger stronger fighter then floyd at the time...Im not sure what the point of this thread is being that the styles of the two are NOTHING alike.

Funny thing is all these guys that think JMM has a great shot at winning will all change thier tune after the fight and claim they knew it was a mismatch. Some have learned from past mistakes and are already claiming on the site that its a huge mismatch while REALLY thinking that JMM has a great shot at winning..

harold always favor aggressive fighters. As if the judges are working for floyd or something. I had floyd winning by two rounds. Floyd won the first 5 rounds and have 4 swing rounds. Floyd won and is a close fight. The haters need to get over it. Beside floyd was man about it and rematched a close fight bc thats what champs do.

Castillo was actually the bigger guy at fight time and he used his size advantage to the hilt. Against JMM, Floyd has a slight advantage in size but I think it won't matter much to a smart fighter like JMM. Floyd has a better timing but JMM throws more punches and IMO, hits harder than Floyd. I will not be surprised if JMM was declared a winner after a close tactical fight and I hope he wins cause I'm longing for Pac-JMM III.

    It wasn't THAT much.

Castillo weighed 147 unofficially on fight night both times, Mayweather 138.

Not that extreme, but regardless, another example of the problem of weigh-ins 30 hours before the fight.

Marquez and Castillo fight nothing alike, so Mayweather having trouble with Castillo is pretty much worthless in analyzing this bout.
