    Hes white, good looking got a good punch. Beaten average opposition.
    Marketable, and finally totally over rated + one dimensional.


    A fighter who looks a million dollars when hes matched right.

    Im not black I am white, ut I think if Kessler looked like Edison Miranda got well beaten by calzaghe and had beaten a few past prime champs/average fos

    And the reverse is true. On ESB, Miranda is **** upon by many (the professed reasoning being he is not skilled and "respectful" (and whether he is respectful or not is entirely irrelevant) and no credit is given for the balls he has shown in fighting a far better level of comp than Abraham (for example).

    Abraham has fought Eastman and a parade of near bums.

    Miranda has fought Eastman, Abraham, Green, Pavlik, and Ward (this weekend).

    He actually deserved a split with AA, he was the first to stop Eastman, he was the first to defeat Green (and came close to getting a late stoppage - yes, Green had some serious health issues which came to light in the months after the fight), and was stopped by Pavlik.

    If this kind of competitiveness had been attempted or accomplished by a John Duddy or Andy Lee (for example - as similarly less than talented fighters) they would be revered on ESB for their heroism.

    This is an example of ESB demographics dictating fighter popularity over their actual substantiveness.

    I too think Miranda is very underrated. He used to be overrated before the Abraham rematch but then he went from Hero to Zero overnight.
