Bute is a SMW that Froch could beat. Bute is slick and fast, but like Jermain Taylor he cant fight when push comes to shove. He is strictly a BOXER not a fighter.

If his angles cant offset Froch he gets stopped.

Froch should definately go to Montreal for this fight, the place is a great boxing venue at the moment, really buzzing and a great place to fight. Sure, he wont have hometown advantage but who cares, I dont think he needs it particularly.

Its just a much bigger fight in Canada, fighting in a packed out (20,000ish?) world class arena in a hotbed of boxing.

I still dont particulalry like Froch, I never did and wanted Pascal and Taylor to beat him. But he is making it harder and harder to be hated on I think, he genuinely wants only the biggest fights, and will make concessions to get them.

Plus, most of what he says is true, he likes to talk yes, but he knows whats what in this game and his ragging on JC is completely justified. He is living proof of this, he is not a big name, he is not an American, and he has not got a huge promoter behind him. JC had all the advantages in this respect, and look who has forced their way into fighting the big names stateside right from the get go.

As for the fight itself, It'll be comparable to the Andrade and Taylor fights.

Bute should outbox him for most of the fight, but going into the eighth and onwards, its a matter of stamina and lasting ability for Bute if he wants to pull it off. Certainly a 50-50 matchup though. Hopefully the winner can fight Kessler.

If people start to look further then the 12 round against Andrade they will realize Bute got good stamina , in fact his the one usely tiring his opponent's. Froch isn't active enough to tires Bute like Andrade did.

But it always depend on the strategy fight night if Froch learn how to defend and throw 800+ punch in the fight it could go like you said!

This is the mistake most observers make, including Lou Dibella, who after Taylor had been knocked out said that for someone who looks so easy to beat,Froch is very difficult to beat. His power, toughness,British bulldog spirit, determination and bloodymindedness compensate for his lack of silky skills at world level. He has been and will continue to seek out the hardest fights because HE BELIEVES HE WILL WIN and so far he has

If Kessler doesn't fight or only fights Gusmyl Perdomo, people thinking the winner of Froch-Bute fight is number 1 will have a stronger case than today.

    Go on Frochy !

    He fears no ****er

Dunno about fighting Bute in Montreal though , it might be another one of Butes family reffing again. Carl may have to knock them both out !
