Taking a left jab from Vlad would be comparable to taking a straight right from.....?

Pav got a mean straight right, and Klit got a power-punch jab

 

I don't think Wlad's (or anyone's) jab is that hard. Wlad does indeed have a powerful jab, but a cross punch is so much more powerful due to putting the body weight behind it. I'd wager the straight right, even from a small fighter, is more powerful than a heavyweight's jab.

Let's put it this way. If Floyd Mayweather (probably the lightest hitter on that list) hit me flush with a straight right, I'd probably be knocked out. But If Wlad hit me with a [one] jab, I'd probably just cry or fall down or something, maybe break my nose...

great thread. just guessing of course but i'd say the average heavyweight jab is probably equal to the straight right of a super-middle. as wlad's got a decent jab i'd say Pavlik

seriously though jesus a straight right from a guy like Pavlik would be so much harder than a Klit jab, like twice as hard I would say at most.
