He does but Mayweather is much better in both of those departments.

your post believe it or not makes an excellent case for mayweather rather then for pac.
Floyd beat over ten round because he has the ability to study his opponent while in heat of battle. That in itself is a skill that not many fighter have, this clearly shows that floyd is a very intelligent fighter and is able to think on his own in the ring. Many needed the aid of his trainer to see hatton weakness with Floyd exposed for him. Floyd also never fights the same way, you have to try and figure out which style he will use. will pot shot , sit in the pocket and counter , will he move and box , or fight the smaller pac behind a high guard , floyd just has so many tool to chose from. Pac on the other hand fights one way Fast.

I am not questioning that, Mayweather is a master at defence all i am saying is Pacman is also not that easy to hit clean.

One intangible you have to think about is whether Mayweather Jr will be at his best (in his prime) if they meet. We know as of recent Pacquiao seems to be peaking right about now, so in the typical scenario, the good naturally bigger man should be able to beat the good smaller man, however, with Pacquiao peaking and have really good legs, we know Mayweather will have to earn his money when and if they fight; same goes to Manny. This is a great match-up for many reasons and is a fight that needs to happen.

The key is speed and Mayweather has it just like Pac does, that's what makes this interesting, we all know both fighters will land on each other sooner or later, it's all about who is able to take it and who isn't.

    Spot on,

'Speed when mastered can only be out done by speed'.

Read the comment and try to understand people what I have just said, take your time.

Mayweather jr vs Manny Pacquiao has to happen.

This would be like saying since Rahman beat Lewis, Rahman is is better then Tyson cause Lewis beat Tyson...moronical.

In other word's in order for him to win this fight he's going to have to beat the **** out of Manny Pac and i believe he can do this with ease.

Whose to say Floyd won't fight Pac like he fought Zab...he hardly used the shoulder roll that fight...it's not really a good thing to use against southpaws with fast hands....you have to take into account that Floyd is a proven genius in that ring so you gotta know he's going to adapt.

this is one of the biggest factors i think pbf will have trouble with. the key will be to somehow counter or get off first (not likely) to neutralize pac's constant punching.

Yes, mainly because Pac's output will be cut in half and his connect ratio will be borderline non existent, unless Floyd shows considerable decline from the layoff.

Exactly! Workrate only means a lot if the guy standing in front of you is not all that accurate, not all that powerful, not defensively solid, lacks timing or a combination of those. If the old Mayweather returns? He will be fine.

I really see Mayweather cruising the first couple of rounds and then slowly gaining momentum as the fight progresses and Pac becomes more and more fatigued and reckless.

I tend to disagree slightly. Speed can ALSO be done in by timing. I think Mayweather has the advantage there. He at least as fast and has superior timing.

The fight has to happen though to know for sure.

The judges might give PBF points and rounds while shoulder rolling and blocking punches. :D

    . . . that's the dangerous part. :deal
