have you noticed how the valuev-holyfield robbery has really been played low.
i still feel like holy won. i remmber either palle or king saying somthing on the lines of "oh the crowd was for holyfield so it felt like holy was winning" forgettign that valuev throwing nish and landing even less nish while holy landed a solid combination in every round. very strange how all the conspiracy theory's dissappear once somebody who has somthign to do with it says somthing.

    anyways gabe

bum's a little harsh, but he's done some questionable things over the years (see what he was arrested for in nj years back). one thing i'll say though is that he looked in great shape for his fight vs kingpin last year and actually looked pretty good during the first round. he then proceeded to show the worst chin/resistence i've seen since seldon-tyson when he couldn't continue in round 3 (i believe). I see that he's now on the kingpin undercard. Anyone else think seldon laid down to build kj up at least a bit in exchange for some fights down the road and some easy cash? (not saying seldon was gonna win but...)

I once read Seldon could walk the length of a basketball court on his hands. Bit of useless info...

Didn't Seldon invest his cash wisely in some sort of fund or something that pays him like $30,000 a year for the rest of his life?

An annuity? Good luck with that. Most of those went down the shitter in the last couple years.

Valuev' existence in SPORTS not just boxing is an insult to sports in general, it makes sport as a whole look like a joke. Valuev hasn't even won ANY of the major he has been in and was gifted, even the Holyfield fight was a robbery so go figure. These guys can go that far and get away with it so don't expect them to play fair anytime soon to continue promoting this freak show who actually belongs in a circus or zoo.

Who is the fatso in those pictures?, it's sad just looking at it because that's how heavyweight fighters are now, "top" contenders of the division look like that, clown Arreola falls in that category. I won't be surprised if that's a future Valuev opponent who will also get robbed.

It's too bad they didn't have a clause in their fight saying the loser must retire. Still at this point in their careers it isn't that bad of an idea that they fight eachother if they aren't going to retire.

For some strange reason...perhaps for the depravity of it, I want to see Seldon vs Brown on ESPN 2.

Or I'm looking for a justifiable reason to kill myself.

3 rounds of Brown-Seldon would probably do the trick.
