    As a change of pace..
    (From the Pac fever topics)

Before the Froch/Taylor fight there was talk of a possible Hopkins II fight?
Since then alot of different scenarios have been put forward none w/Trinidad included.

Was it all just talk/internet rumors?
    any insiders know the deal?

I think the rumors were started by Trinidad himself. I don't think it was ever a serious thing for GBP.

Tito is a great fighter and one of my all time fave but he needs to stay retired. He has nothing left to prove.

Tito is one of my all time favourite fighters, but I really hope that I never see him fight again. Especially not a rematch with Hopkins :patsch

Well I doubt it's easy for him to sit by and watch dudes like Cotto and Lopez get some burn. He's got an ego (and a need for money) too.

So occasionally he pokes his head out of his worm hole to say hey and see if the boxing public remembers who he is.

I'd like to see Trinidad make a fight @ 160lbs.
(Tho Would prefer 154lbs, Prob not possible anymore?)

I'b be in line to watch a Vernon Forrest Vs. Trinidad @ 154lbs if possible.

Unless I'm mistaken (and I'm pretty behind on my Tito news), Papa Trinidad said Tito wouldn't take a fight below 166 lbs.

They wanted an Oscar rematch at 166.
