Gutted, That was a ****ing terrible way to lose a Title, Dave Paris should not be allowed to make it out of Belfast tonight, He was a disgrace and the BBBC should order an immediate rematch. That said Rogan made things hard for himself, Sexton controlled him with the jab and when he finally did catch up with him he let him off the hook. The Ref made it an easy fight for Sexton who spoiled every time Rogan got inside, He also gave him time to recover when he was hurt, but Rogan was missing a little of his usual spark tonight as well.

Yes Slap there was definite damage there, when an eye is that colour it means its is till very tender and damged underneath,I wonder did they try and get one last spar in and pay for it with the title.
Two things, the ref was as biased as i've ever seen he definetly had issues wih Rogie and secondly fair play rogie but business is business sexton should have been put away gumshield or no gumshield.

I think we're being a bit hard on Rogan. Sexton should have been stopped. First when he turned his back and wanted no more. Then when he was out of it completely - and I mean completely - and looking sheepishly at the ref with his hands by his sides.

Rogan may have been naive, but if had blasted Sexton with one more shot, the Norfolk man could have been seriously hurt long-term. Fair enough, not Rogan's job to worry about that, but he's gone up in my estimation. A great-value slugger, and the classiest fella in the sport anywhere.

My point is that Dave Parris should have stopped the fight, the instant Sexton turned his back. Then when he failed to protect himself soon after. The eye was bad, but why stop the fight seconds after Sexton should have been waved off? Something is rotten in Denmark. Parris was awful, truly awful.

Bear in mind, Rogie had a million dubious warnings. Maybe that played on his mind as he was going to wade in on Sexton at the end? Thought Parris, ****head that he is, would DQ him and stepped back. Not logical I know, but who could blame him?

I'm only back from the fight, I had not the heart or compulsion to drink anymore, which was my intention before the fight. I'm so disgusted with that fool of a referee. Who stops the boxer when he is bossing the fight. In all my years of watching boxing I have not seen such poor refereeing.

On a lighter note, Sinclair was amazing.

Your not wrong, it went from Rogan on the verge of stopping Sexton to Rogan getting stopped for a cut eye. I would laugh, only it's too serious

others might agree but I dont. Rogie had it in his hands to have the fight stopped. He knew his eye was ****ed and he was skating on thing ice. Yes Parris gave Sexton every advantage but Rogan should and could have forced Parris to stop it by unloading when he was in the corner.

If Rogie is worried about hurting Sexton then he is in the wrong job. Sexton wasnt worried about Rogie losing his title and he wont be worried if there is no rematch either!

Neil completely outclassed Coyle from the start. There was one minute in the 2rd when Coyle came into it, other than that it was one way traffic. Coyle was badly wobbled in the first, put down at end of 2nd, and stopped in 3rd. It was a little too easy. I wanted Coyle to lose but not in that fashion, he was crying on his way back to the changing room, which was very touching.I think Neil has proved he should be higher in your p4p list.

yer not wrong. Although I did pick Sinclair to win this. He will shoot up next month and I reckon Coyle slips off the list.
