I wasl istening to my dear old grand-pa-pa telling me about how rediculous and convenient the referee stoppage was in the Rogan/Sexton fight, and I started to realise that the scenario sounded horribly familiar....Barrera vs Khan

Low and behold I just watched the fight and it's the same ****ing referee, Dave Parris.

Frank Warren and his corrupt goons need to be sorted out, he isn't even trying to hide his dodgy stoppages anymore.

It was a weird kind of fight. I expected Rogan to win easily but had Sexton 6-1 up in the seven completed rounds. However, Sexton clearly has a dodgy chin and was ready to go in the eighth, but the eye was very bad and it was the doctor that stopped it, not the ref. I don't have any problems with the result and would have thought that Warren would have wanted Rogan to win, not Sexton, as Rogan is far more marketable and a couple of wins more and Warren could have arranged some sort of world title fight in Belfast for him. Sexton won't ever get a world title shot

Errrrmmm...neither will Rogan? He is very average

ready to go? He was gone, completely gone, and Rogan stepped off, then Rogan gets a pitter pat on the face from Sexton who doesn't even know where he is and its stopped... and if you think both the ref and doc aren't working for warren you need to see a few more sports network fights.

    yeah definate home town decision..........:patsch

whilst agree ref was poor rogan is a warren fighter isnt he? and he was being lined up for a world title shot which would give warren money which is his god! he has nothing to gain by the southern area heavyweight champ stopping rogan as he is going to do nothing on the euro or world scene with those whiskers.

The argument is that Paris stopped Barrera too late and Rogan too early? (ignoring the fact that both were on doctor's advice...)

Listen to me very carefully, if Frank Warren wanted Rogan to win that fight, Dave Parris would have dived in when Sexton was lolling around like a drunk with his hands down. Sexton turned his back at one point in the fight and Rogan hit him in the upper back, before getting a good scolding from Parris for hitting the back of the head...It was fishy to say the least

The argument is that Barrera wobbled khan ten seconds before Parris took him to the doctor (Frank Warrens doctor, you know he has most officials in the BBBC firmly in his pocket?) oh lets stop the fight, never mind that any round previously it should and would have been NC

Rogan almost kills Sexton, Parris does nothing, Sexton pitter pats Rogan back, and Parris brings him to the doc.. Oh lets stop the fight

watch the ****ing fights closely next time.

Need I remind you that this is the same guy responsible for such stoppages as Mitchell/Calzaghe? And Sexton was a lot more hurt than Mitchell was...

agree was bad reffing but if rogan thinks the ref is dodgy then when sexton is standing with his arms by his side all he has to do swing and what the ref, judges, dr, fans who score sexton ahead think does not matter. he paid the price for not having the killer instinct, which i applaud in a sense he must be a nice guy but u leave that outside the ring.

I agree here, but did you notice that when he initially spun Sextons head round 360 degrees and was mauling him, Sexton was leaning over the ropes with his back turned, absolutely gone, and Parris pulls Rogan away and shouts at him for hitting the back of the head(he didn't) Even Jim Watt was starting to say that Parris was punishing Rogan every time he hurt Sexton

if it was stopped before the end of the 4th it would have been a NC not a Khan win

I had it 4-3 to Sexton and round 8 would have been a 10-8 to Rogan IMO.
