And i hate is whiney ppl crying about MMA.

I've loved boxing since i was a kid and still do but I started to watch MMA since about 4 years ago.

At first it just looked like a mess, over time i learn what was happening and why they were doing what they were doing.
I apprecate aspects of MMA like the ground game, Brazilian Ju Jitsu(submissions) and Muay Thai striking.

MMA fans **** me off by talking **** about how boxing is a dying sport and boxing fans **** me off by saying how MMA is just guys falling on the floor.
Look deeper and you'll be surprised the level of skill and training it takes to be top of the tree in todays MMA.

And believe it or not, MMA learnt from boxings mistakes.
Like one belt for one weight division.
Less promoters, which can prevent big fights from happening.
Making big fights the fans want to see, not endless mandatory bull****.

Who knows what the future holds for both sports, but i still will be staying up till 3-5 in the morning to watch big boxing fights/PPVs and UFC PPVs.

I'm sure i'll get **** for this on a boxing forum, but **** it :bbb :rofl

MMA is pretty fun to watch if you are watching Fedor Emelienko but other than him, their isn't a lot of good mma fighters.

Vargas vs. De la Hoya will always be the one for me. Even though it was found out after ther fight that Vargas was on rodes - before the fight he kept talking about how good he looked - when have you ever seen a Mexician look as good as him - and how he was in the best shape of his life. He had to say that like 100 times in every interview. Then he turns around and gets his ass handed to him. Priceless.

This is perfect. Boxing fans seem way too consumed about MMA and all of its shortcomings when we're in a china glass house.

I like MMA and I love Boxing, **** who doesn't like me for it, I dont give a ****. You have to be a skilled mother****er to be a top MMA fighter because once that fight goes to the ground if you got weak ground game you might aswell just quit before the beating starts. Boxing can actually learn a lot from MMA in the terms of the promotional aspect and big fights being made and also good undercards as oppose to most boxing undercards which are a pile of ****. Total mismatches and it is always a top flight guy against a can. The fights that the fans demand like Dawson vs Johnson rematch, Darchinyan vs Donaire rematch, Mayweather vs the top welterweights etc are not getting made because of stupid ass deals being brought to the table and dickheads who are just greedy mother****ers. This kind of **** is killing the momentum of our sport and MMA will take over if they continue to crap undercards on and mismatches and rematches like Dawson vs Tarver which I thought was such a pointless fight, Dawson should have been fighting Glen Johnson that night, **** Tarver, he almost is as annoying as John Ruiz. Stay away man stay away
