Hopkins funny enough was at the start of this generation (Post Sugar Ray etc) and hes the last one out there.

Who have been your Top 10 from this generation. Weve had some really spectacular fighters who would have graced any era no matter what
Rose Tinted Glasses Bert Sugar wears!

    mine are in no order:

    Manny Pacman
    Barrera
    Morales
    Hopkins
    Toney or Mosley
    De La hoya
    Roy Jones
    Hopkins
    Trinidad
    Lennox/Marquez

(sorry that 11) had to fit our Lennox in their took them all on in their back yard!

I think the best goes between Pacman/Floyd/Roy Roy in the 90's to early 2000's Floyd/Pac still battling it out

How far back does this generation go?

If it's post-Ray Leonard, than Pernell Whitaker is the top man.

The pic is from his training camp for the fight with Calzaghe, and I guess as a promotion the Welsh and American flags were put up next to each other on the wall. He just happens to be in front of the Welsh flag in that shot.

nah its not hating. Those guys I have ahead of him aren't just a bunch of nobodies.

maybe you can put him at #4 ahead of BHop, but no way he's in front of Pac, RJJ, and Holyfield.

maybe RJJ, but Holyfield?? Holyfield was the **** though, Mayweather has been to 5 weight classes and only had 1 close fight. I still think Mayweather is a clear top 3. but once he beats Pacquiao thens hes #1 so hopefully Arum wont start all the ducking

Mayweather has had more than 1 close fight. He's had 1 controversial fight but a couple of close ones.

I could switch Hopkins and Toney as I feel Toney was the better fighter p4p, and I probably should have De La Hoya and Mayweather switched, but imo, a prime De La Hoya would have defeated Mayweather. Holyfield is the only HW I have on my list, considering he was the greatest Cruiserweight champion in history as well as a 4x HW title holder, and also tbh I felt he deserved the nod against Valuev and been a 5x title holder, so he is, in my eyes, the best HW.
