So Haye has a 3 fight contract with the Klitchko's. If Haye gets past Wlad, he has to beat him again, then fight Vitali? If Haye gets beat by Wlad, he still have to fight him again before fighting Vitali? If Haye and Wlad draw 1 fight each, Haye fights Vitali? Or they have a rubber match? If Haye can't beat Wlad twice, does he still get to fight Vitali? It's a very strange situation. :rofl
It is all moot if Haye loses to Wlad which he will. All of the bitching and complaining by his nuthuggers here will have been for nothing.
No matter what happens, they are still the 3/4 biggest fights open to Haye so I don't see the contract as being that bad from his point of view.
To me, even if he beats Wlad, he'll hit a brick wall against Vitali. I'll be one surprised mother ****er if he can actually beat Wlad twice and Vitali once. I'd be completely sold that Haye is the best HW since Muhammad Ali and Larry Holmes if he could pull that one off.
I believe the contract is basically, Haye does whatever the Klitschkos want. Haye wins, the Klitschkos decide who (Vitali or Wlad) Haye fights next. Haye loses, the Klitschkos still get to fight him again and then one more time. (they probably won't do that but they can if they want to)
So whats the problem? All along the line if Haye keeps winning he still gets to fight the most lucrative fight open to him.
No problem at all. Haye agreed to it... No one held a gun to his head. I personally would not have signed something like that, because it really limits his earnings potential because now, he has no strength in negotiating the fight with the other bro. He has to take it at what was agreed upon BEFORE he won anything. But, I guess it was the only way he was able to get the fight.
I'd be willing to bet that if he beats Wlad then, although he has to offer a rematch, the next fights will be able to go out to purse offers and Hayemaker could promote the fight. I doubt Haye is contracted to fight Wlad and Vit for a specified amount of money should he win the first fight.
I can't believe there is this much hype about Haye. What the hell has he done and who the hell has he beaten?!?!? He is a class B fighter.
I could see it both ways. Yes, Vitali and Wlad are the two biggest names at Hevyweight, but it still sucks to have to forced to do something. I could understand a Wlad rematch if the champ loses, but whats that have to with Vitali getting a shot now too? Haye has a big opertunity to prove himself, though it's got to be tough to have to face 3 hard fights in a row. Even Ali had breaks inbetween tough fights against Frazier and Norten.
I think thats the "price" he's had to pay for getting a shot in only is second real fight at the weight. All the fights he's being "forced" into will be good earners for him so I'd guess he'll be more than happy with the contract.
Yeah, but thats just say he beats Wlad in a war of sorts, and he's not going to be a 100% for awhile. Though because of the contract, he's forced to fight another tough fight before he's fully recovered? I guess what I'm trying to say is, Haye has a extremely tough road ahead where he's basically destined to lose at least one of those matches. So even if he beats Wlad, he has 2 more tough fights to get through before he's in the clear, which I think is unfair to Mr. Haye.
