    I don't know if Ward is the best American fighter from 160-175 (we have quite a few to choose from nowadays) but until someone has a performance of this level against an OPPONENT of this level, he's easily #2 behind Bad Chad.

    Round 9 begins is the same as round 8. Both fighters in the phonebooth. NASTY left hook snuck in by Ward as Miranda backs up. At this point if we could pick a flaw, we could look at the fact that he's nailed Miranda with big big shots but hasn't dropped him yet. You gotta wonder about the power of Ward. I guess that's the only flaw from this fight so far (other than his occasional habit of dropping into right hand range).Miranda looks a little wobbly too. Miranda doesn't make it 11 rounds if things stay this way.

    Another Ward round. I have it 8-1.

    Ward looks well rounded and versatile, doesn't have great power though which could hurt him against better fighters, and he isn't letting his hands go as much as he should. He could be much more dominant.

    hmmm....wonder if this will go 3 more rounds.
    wards easily winning but he should have already
    taken miranda out. i musta underestimated edisons
    chin.

    We've only seen Miranda stopped by two of the best punchers in the sport. Thus, while I can see what you're saying to a point, we should keep that in mind.

    just dont like the way ward fights.
    I wish miranda would clock him, but i dont see that happening.
