Ward did everything well and more.

You're nuts. Besides, I don't hear anyone saying Ward is ready for Kessler just yet.

A guy outclasses a pretty good fighter completely , yet we will still find people like you with ignorant ass statements like that.

Ward is far far more versatile than Dirrell.

Ward is a great fighter but vs Dirrell it would not go like this. Miranda has about 10% of the defensive prowess that Dirrell has. Dirrell can mirror the switches of stance if he chooses. He's much faster than Pantera as well.

I like both young Americans to beat Froch rather easily and can't wait for them both to take out the trash in the division and get it on with eachother.

Froch is way too overrated IMO and was lucky to get past JT.

Not true, he was coming forward, looking to punch. Ward was hitting him with some blasters and didn't put him out.

Again...it's finicky but what the hell are we here for then if to not be fickle?

Should be an academic decision win.

SMW is now stacked with guys like Bute, Andrade, Kessler, Froch, Ward, Dirrell, Bika, Korobov and potentially Danny Jacobs, Arthur Abraham and Kelly Pavlik in a little while.

To me, this performance necessitates that Ward enters the 168 top ten, which is absolutely loaded, by the way.

Where would you guys put him?

Excellent performance by Ward. It was really frustrating to watch Miranda, entertaining fight though.

A couple more fights for Ward would be perfect before he challenges the top 2 or 3 SMW's.

good fight for the prospect on the cusp of serious
contention for a major title. he still needs some
more experience fights to get him ready for the
    big leagues.

Certainly is enough to push him into the top 10. It's hard to NOT make an arm chair/knee jerk reaction immediately after a fight though.

    116-112, 119-109 x 2 for Andre Ward.

    116-112? Really?
