IMO the judges decision was more or less OK.

The problem was the referee, who (amongst other things) didn't score the second knockdown, which would make it SD for Wlodarczyk. Instead he gave him time to recover, possibly saving him from being stopped.

I am not excited about Wlodarczyk either, still, his win could be good for boxing in Poland.

The ref should be suspended from boxing.

Andy, mate ! :p It seems you are a fan of Diablo and it's okay, I'm a Pole too, but tried to score this fight honestly with my mind, not heart. I think you're like 'I'll get inner fire after this man', and it doesn't let you think Wlodarczyk wasn't as good to defeat Fragomeni. When there was an announcement time I was sure Wlodarczyk lost, there was no way to give Wlodarczyk a win by 3 points. I also wanted him to win, but come on ... the draw should be satisfy him and his fans. If you want to be a champ you have to beat champ the **** up, there would not be a discuss. Also, the ref coulda stop fight or at least give the second counting = not such long break for Italian, then maybe we would have 2 champions in cruiser. There's da revenge needed, for sure.

Anyway, keep on rooting him, he deserves a lot and needs fans like you, cheers dude.

    (no offense at all)

Wloda should get another eliminator right away...vs. Marco Huck.

The winner should be named the next WBC Cruiserweight mandatory.

The fight can happen around August/September in Berlin...lots of Poles and Germans in attendance...makes for a good fight crowd as the English will cheer in with me if they saw the last 2 fights of Huck...

I would say that Fragomeni has very good skills. His defence and balance was immpressive and punches were fast and tricky

i didnt watch the fight but seeing from all your post, he was lucky he got a draw. Why? Well he's fighting in the guy's hometown. You don't make a fight close in your opponents hometown, he should have dig deep more. Well imo that is what he should have done because i'm sure he knows going in there on a guys hometown would give the other guy leverage in decisions. Now if you have a link to the fight i'll be glad to review for myself:D

In fact skills are the only thing he has. He's kinda small and lacks power and he's not even that quick. It's his skills and confidence that got him through the fight.

Diablo needs to improve his speed and footwork. And he must fight with more combos, not single or double punches. Then he will become a world champion again. Maybe he was overtrained or because he didnt fight for 13 months he didnt show his best. Now he needs some good fights with demanding cruisers and when he wins he will get the title fight again.

But Im impressed by other polish CW - Artur Szpilka. He has got very very good conditions for this weight. He has incredible body balance, killing speed and power. And he is a Southpaw boxer. He is only 19 and has very good amateur career. All he needs is to fight in US, cause in Europe he may not be developing correctly - because of the lack of proper opponents.

Yes, You are right. But on the other hand if he wants to fight with good fighters on the "neutral" terrain he should fight in US. It is well-known that for example fighting a German-promoted fighter in Germany means robbery (Valuev-Holyfield).
He may fight in Poland, but it will be difficult to find good fighters who wants to fight there (money). And when Szpilka fights somewhere else in Europe he will fight low-skilled boxers, falls to be robbered fighting a good opponent.

Work out a deal with a British or German promotion (many Polish fighters seem to to this nowadays)...for example this heavyweight who fights under Sauerland's banner (don't know the name though) who gets some ok opponents...
