As someone said you pay your bills, look at the boxer/promoter scenario of Calzaghe/Warren, Calzaghe needing to enforce legal action to get what he is owed which is exactly what he should be doing. Graham still done a job for Hatton, he should have also been paid for the bouts prior to his dismissal, Hatton put business first, friendship second, and that's the way Graham should play it, loyalty doesn't come into it now, it's business.

roach got 400 000 for the de lahoya fight, the fact is that there only so much that a trainer can actually do and a vast amount of fighters large purses have more to do with the fighters level of popularity than anything else.

Also fighters and trainers traditionally dont have contracts so its all verbal, nothing can stand up.

Anybody remember when Pac fough Larios in Philipines???

****** Fortune was Freddies second back then and Roach couldnt go due to Oscar I think ,

yeah well Fortune took the cash a couple of hundred grand meant for freddie and just kept it and went home to Austrailia

Hopefully Moorer dont do the same to him lol

Well that's the first problem isn't it

In a business like this you do NOTHING on a verbal basis if you've any sense

That said, if Graham can prove he'd always been paid 10% perhaps a court would accept that as a contractual term

And if he'd always got 10% and nothing was said to suggest otherwise before the fight, he should get his 10%, morally

exactly. It's also clear how he treats the guy who helped him so much, by letting his new scumbag trainer talk shite about Graham while sat next to him.
The conensus view seems to be that Graham is a stand-up guy. So who is the problem/parasite in all this? Not hard to work it out now is it.

I hope, but that, you do not mean Ray Hatton is any more computer literate or more admistrative minded than Ricky, because I find that very hard to believe!
