Just who is the best pound 4 pound fighter on planet at this moment. In my opinion even with having stepped away for a little bit it is still Money Mayweather. Lets for argument sakes though keep him out of the rankings until we see how he looks in his return. Who does that make the King? For the longest true pound 4 pound fighters were judged on what they did in the ring and not whether or not you liked them or not. Three fighters have a claim to this spot. Hopkins who has been there in the rankings forever, Pac, and Mr. Marquez himself. Since Marquez and Pac fight Marquez beat the good Diaz and Cassamayor to be lineal champ at 135. Pac beat 37 year old Oscar(shot) and Hatton at 140 who you could say is damaged goods to put it nice. And the world beater David Diaz lol. Advantage Marquez who knocked both men out for the first time in their lives and they were both still real fighters. Then there is Hopkins who just keeps turning back the clock time and again. Not counting Money and going off of achievements in the ring how is not Marquez? Like you guys say about Money why doesn't Pac fight a fighter in his so called divisions, why not clean the division out? Oh thats right because Marquez was the one taking care of that. No Money that makes Marquez number 1 for what he does in the ring. Its been 3 fights is Pac ever going to fight someone good again. Pac and Freddie name a lot of good fighters they want to fight they just don't pick them to fight lol.

Take your pic out of Pacquiao, Mayweather and JMM.

    Personally I'd have it

    1 Manny Pacquiao
    2 Floyd Mayweather
    3 Juan Manuel Marquez

hmm says... just for input and looking what you said aside... Pac has been in the P4P list way longer than BHop, JMM, and PBF.. Pac was #2 for a long time behind PBF. Each fighter is on that list for their own respective reasons and merits. Time did not stand still when PBF left and Pac took over as #1, followed by #2 JMM and #3 Bhops. Pac definately earned his spot.

Pacquiao is number one by default. Mayweather will soon regain his crown.

i don't need that crap saying someone is great. Its a fact pac just started to be able to box with both hands so there is no way he could be number 1. Pac over hopkins yeah right Hopkins up until maybe lately has always ebeen a better pound 4 pound fighter then Pac. They say Pac is a complete fighter now but I can't tell cause I haven't seen him fight a real fighter in three fights. They say he became complete against Diaz, well sure he is going to look good against Diaz who can't fight after running from Marquez who had Pac pushed to his limits and running from another fight. When has Pac clearly beat Marquez again? Oh yeah he hasn't and every boxing expert Rafeal included had Marquez whooping pacs ass.
