    I got front seat!! :happy

I like this kid alot. I wasnt convinced before last nights fight. But this kid has impressed me. He boxes very well on the front and back foot and switches well from southpaw to orthodox and has good power in either hands. Right now Ward beats Froch thats reals. The kid has a very good punch variation ring generalship and stayed in the pocket all night and used the ring very impressively. Most of all he didnt crumble despite the fouling and mauling from Miranda. One to watch people! Who's on board!!!

Theres only one problem he carrys his hands to low. As long as he keeps his hands up and doesnt take any unneccesary punishment i think the kid can go far.

He has potential but his chin is questionable and that will be an issue when he faces someone with decent boxing skills.

I too thought this. But last night proved me wrong. The kid stayed in the cup and showed very good defensive skills despite having his hands relatively low. Miranda is no joke and Ward dealt with him like a seasoned pro with a variety of punches. If he can tighten up defensively and not leave his chin exposed im positive this kid will win a belt and establish himself as a mainstay at 168. Right now he outboxes Froch with ease.

Im in!!! I was at the fight you know it was funny cause my boy called me up and he said that Showtime was airing night shots of the Oracle arena "live" when clearly it was day time lol. But yeah Ward is ****ing awesome: Speed, size, defense, stamina, and HE CAN CLEARLY TAKE A PUNCH and if you arent convinced from last night trust me those shots from the Pantera looked even more deadly live.

I was impressed with his range of skills.

    - He fought the southpaw stance for entire rounds - nullifying Mirandas only effective arsenal.

    - Great lateral movement

    - Good 'duck' and 'weave' - did it abundantly over and over (most impressive)

    - Good infighting - looked sturdy

    - Fought smart and at a distance when needs must

I actually think he fights MUCH better Southpaw than he does Orthodox. I thought he looked brilliant from the other stance and had a great left straight through Miranda's guard.

He looked strong in the southpaw - could be that this lefty stance made Mirandas right hand pretty useless with not being able to get anywhere near Ward. Great skills.

Meh, count me out. I'd get on this train but I fear it wouldn't be going anywhere because there'd be too much holding in the station.

I've been following Ward since the Olympics. He has the tools to go all the way. I've been disappointed that he's advanced so slowly over the past few years - but it has given him time to become properly seasoned. He's ready to start challenging the elite of the division.

I feel he has a decent chin ..Miranda hit him with some good shots and was able to brush them off ,he also puts combos together very nice ..If he can with stand Froch's power he could very well out box him.

Froch isnt as busy as Miranda nor as aggresive. Froch can never get into 2nd gear. He fights at a mediocre pace is easy to hit and doesnt put them together at all. Great chin great punch but that is all. He's asking to be outboxed by a savvy box puncher that can go the full 12 instead of gassing. Ward is that man. He's the WBC mandatory as well! :happy
